Is any one actually using this amp or has in the past ?
Any feedback?

***I'VE READ ALL THE REVIEWS AND KNOW 1ST HAND THE PROS AND CONS OF THE BEHRINGER BRAND***

I'm just looking at upgrading my power situation from 280watts x 2 @8ohms ( Peavey PV1200)  to something around the 500watts x 2 x 8ohms.
I'm looking at Peavey Pv2600 but that and the units from CROWN YAMAHA CARVIN   are all in another price category .

I know with Behringer you take a gamble but if I get lucky I can save $200 on the amp compared to the Peavey ..and I love Peavey

Buy it from an etailer or local guy who has one of those 45 day no questions asked return policies....I know MF has it...MF will also offer you extended warranty really cheap...If it fails, they just ship you a new one free....I could have purchased the extended warranty on my mixer for 16 bucks and they would have replaced it free for 3 years VS the 1 year factory warranty....That's about all you can do if you doubt the relibility of the product.

I had one. I ran it at 4 ohms it liked to heat up and shut off.

I would suggest a QSC RMX2450 or a Crown XS700 for something in that power range.

Second that recommendation.  Also look into the Carvin DCM2000 or DCM2500.   www.carvin.com
