i could try ot be funny and "Henry the VIII" or "Infinite Beers on the Wall", but instead, i'll tell you the truth. I'd sing "I Miss You a Little" and "Amazed" in a medley then I'd kiss my wife goodbye and tell my grandad that i'll be there soon.

"All Fired Up" by Pat Benetar. The lyrics speak for themselves.
I don't know if I'd ever have songs that I have recorded at my funeral. If I did, which I doubt, they would be funny songs, or bloopers, or light hearted ones. Just my own personal preference though. I would definately have them blast the original "All Fired Up" though.

I believe it would have to be..."Prop Me Up By The Jukebox (if I die)" by Joe Diffie....I think that it best describes how I'd like to go........

I hate to admit it but I think I would also cry and ask for more time on earth. Songs at my funeral? I am not dead yet. It wont matter once I am gone! I wont be listening in because harps and singing angels will be too loud to hear the funeral! Actually, I went to a funeral once where I sat by a huge sherriff of a small Texas town. He had a handle bar moustache, cowboy hat in hand, boots, and his gun was actually tied down for a quick draw. I sat in the funeral and listened to the minister talk about (I'll call him Roy). Roy had died during cattle branding time. He was found sitting on his horse, dead. It was determined he had been dead for a couple of hours before they found him, and he had not fallen off of his horse. The minister said, "Roy liked horses! Roy liked horses and cows! Roy liked to rodeo! Roy liked to ride horses and rope cows! I just believe somewhere up in heaven today Roy has made it to the second go round of Heaven's Rodeo and he is up there just a ridin' and a ropin' all the time! Now we will hear from the church choir!" As the choir stood to sing and I was doing everything in my power to keep my composure...(sorry but even at times like funerals, there are some really funny things that can happen) The choir began to sing....You guessed it! "Happy trails to you--until we meet again!" It was almost more than any cowboy could stand! Made me real teary eyed! Believe it or not, this is a true story. It happened just like I said it did with no embellishments! I can tell you this much, I dont want to hear "The Devil Went Down To Georgia" at my funeral! Dont want the boogie man getting any ideas about showing up for me! --Mike

Guardian Angel.... Hmmm
Fold me up mamma
Let's give it a try
Turn out your porch light
Let the others slide by
Honey won't you tell me
You'll all mine
We'll take that train for that one slow ride

"Don't fear the reaper" ok.. it's kind of cheesy, but maybe it would make me feel better.

I guess a good last song to sing might be (for me) "There You Are" by Martina Mcbride... I just kinda like it and it has sentimental value...
I think it would totally be up to my family if they wanted to hear my recordings at my funeral. The funeral isn't really for the dead but to help the living mourn, imo... I like the idea of the song, "I will remember you" being played ( by sarah mclaughlan) it's poetic.

[shadow=midnightblue]Not sure about the last song. I'd probably take a pass but I think playing an artist's song at his/her funeral can be appropriate..depending on the song.[/shadow] :drunk:

lemme see......I guess that would be a good time to try something I had never done before. I never have the balls to get up and do anything really loud at karaoke so probably would be a good time to try Chop Suey! Might be the only way I WOULD try it is if I was about to die LMAO p.s. the other one would be what Kevin said...I keep saying I am gonna record that one but I never have the guts!
