you need to record them first on your computer in MP3 format. Then you send them down to Karaoke Scene Singers Showcase.

I use AUDACITY program to make my recordings. Its a very easy to use program.

there are alot of programs out there to record with.  Audacity seems to be the main one used on this site, possibly because it is easy to use.  once you're recorded your song and saved it as as MP3 file (the site will only allow MP3 uploads because they are smaller in file size) you need to head over to the singer's showcase part of the site.  that is where you may upload your songs and listen to the submissions of others.  a word of caution - most song files are bigger than the free registration will allow.  i suggest opting for an upgrade to at least the minimum paid membership.  it will allow you to submit 2 songs instead of one.  it will allow you to have more songs submitted and stored here.  it will only cost $5 or something like that.  i do not work for this site, nor do i gain anything from you upgrading, but i think you will be happier if you do.  once you have subbed a couple of songs, let us know so we can check them out!

on another note, your next post will probably be, how do i record or something to that effect.  please do a serach of teh forum on this subject prior to asking the queqtion in a post.  if your needs are still not met, then make a post.  much easier on you that way.  trust me ;)

email is

As you see by your post, you can't exchange email addresses on the forums or via PM...I think they do that to protect you from spammers and others who might pester you. Whenever you see, "send me email", it's the censor bot embedded in the forum program censoring out your email address.

I haven't tried it, but I believe there is a place in your profile where you can insert an email addy....Then people can click on a button in your profile or under one of your posts and email you that way.

Welcome to the forums! :D

AUDACITY is free get it from here  http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

and read the documentation http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/documentation

Then read the tutorial

http://www.edhsonline.org/other/audacity/
http://www.agnula.org/documentation/dp_ ... /audacity/
http://www.daniel.uklinux.net/tutorial/

that should help you start.

Good luck .

LMAO  LMAO  LMAO

Brenda Baby...... if you read all that and still need help, PM or email me tomorrow. I'll have my comp on most of the day. I would be happy to help you if none of that stuff makes sense.

It can be a bit daunting at first
