Gilly, I wish I had the *@LL's to shave mine, the amount if time I spend over rediculous stuff like worrying about the normal thinning that takes place around my age is rediculous.. Good friend of mine who had nice long hair just shaved his a few weeks ago, Said it's because it was starting to thin, and he didn't want to bother with it either, so he killed two birds with one stone...Maybe the fact that he spent time in the service made it abit easier for him, not sure....I'm a wuss....I keep it medium long, and torcher myself. I still think I'm 17... The mirror lies !

Lol, I begged my husband, Justin, to shave his for YEARS.... he has increidbly THICK cury frizzy hair AND he is REALLY balding:) (And, he started to when he was 19) finally, the whole military thing convinced him, and NOWadays, I can't convince him to grow it LONGER:)
Off topic, but slightly similar, last week, he was in the bathroom shaving his head, and he called me in... took me a minute to adjust to what I was supposed to be noticing... and then I screamed. My formerly VERY hairy bodied husband was bald as a baby. BALD. AND, this guy is only 5'5" and maybe 130 lbs..... I couldn't bear to touch him, made me feel like a pedophile:) It is starting to grow back, and holy prickly, he regrets THAT stunt:)
Gaggggg....

OK, I wasn't sure if you were going to say he shaved his body hair, or it fell out because of some form of Alopecia.... Men and women I guess can lose hair all over sometimes for strange reasons....hormonal, vitamin def., stress, illness, etc...sometimes hair falls out in patches too :( SCARY for those that go thru it

all i have to say on the subject of hair is (and this is coming from someone who was voted "most likely to be mistaken for sasquatch" in high school) be sure to read the directions on a bottle of Nair before you use it. it's not suppose to go on any "sensetive" parts of the body. i didn't read and found out the hard way!

Lol, my hubby is hairy, but NOT sasquatch:) (well, he WAS hairy:)
Now, my father on the other hand, looks like he is wearing a bear suit... I mean, SCARY hairy. And, on the opposite side of shaving, my older sister suffers from fairly severe Hirsutism, and was pretty much tortured by other kids in school. SHe is happily married now, but still gets odd stares, etc. Because she suffers from some other disorders, she has never had hair removal, etc. which would have helped. Probably with handling it all mentally as well. I am sure it was hard for her growing up.
ANd, yes, Steven, he shaved it off..... LIttle bugger is itchy as hell now:)

reminds me of that school house rock song....
"he was a hairy bear! he was a scary bear!" "man that was one big ugly bear!"

It must be nice to be a cutie and get deals. I've got a total of 6 Tats and I don't want to even imagine how much I have spent. I do have to admit that the guy who was working on my back was a good friend of mine and cut me a good deal, but the other 5 cost out the you know what. I'd guess I've got between$1500 and $2000
