Had fun in the Persian Gulf dodging mines station keeping in convoy behind the SS Bridgeton supertanker(100,000 ton supertankers can absorb mine hits much easier than 3500 ton frigates)

Speaking of Cheryl Crowe and you Crank....She will be here in Grand Prairie playing at Nokis live on March 3rd...You may need to make a road trip to meet your new wife...

I was in for 16 yrs, 3 ships, 2 shore dutys. DD-784, DD-972, FFG-40.

funy how the sheryl crow/lance armstrong news made it national before it made it locally since they are from austin. guess they were trying to keep it a secret?
