No, The above piano's aren't typical piano's found in most homes...
They are Boutique Bosendorfer's, and Steinway's....Several are appraised at over 1 million dollars. The two cheapo's below are my own

Was that with a woodburning iron ? You did light burning in on that ? Very nice design ! Oh man, the Ebony fingerboard broke ? That's often a sign of a decent violin vs cheap production model.... Decent quality violins use an ebony slab as a fingerboard, lesser violins just use a stain on the neck with dark coloration.

Take your violin to ANY music store, you'd be better off to go to a repairman who serviced the local school kids instruments, positioning the post is VERY easy, It sit's directly under the bridge, and serves also as a post that conducts tone throughout the body.... Every violin needs ocassional post positioning over many years play, Reason I'm saying school repairman, (or even any luthier would have instruments to get int the F-holes) is that it's a VERY inexpensive job, often they won't charge.. You don't need a violin maker to do that type work. Yet the post is important to have aligned.

, That's interesting, I never had a clue as to that thread technique.. I've had posts just fall, and roll around in the body, Never had any idea what to do..When it comes to working on my own stuff, a guitar tech said it best... Some people are best NEVER working on their own instruments, it can be nerve racking... Of course he never allowed me to watch while he was setting my necks either  Said, either you trust me, or take them elsewhere... (Grrrrr, I couldn't even watch the kid's go thru surgery... but I suppose these people know about we quirky folks... ) How could you get that far into the body cavity and stand the post with just thread ?
