Whew!................This was a great night.

Me and buddy just got home....I left the laptop running on KS while I was gone....It's like 430AM and I got to work in three hours, but it was worth it....

OMG, the new karaoke bar here is hot!....We met several gals displaced from New Orleans who will come visit here at the house soon.....I love refugees!

Steven, I promise to send pics.

Absolutely not.  I sing because it is an emotional release for me.  The sheer joy of singing, and the high I get from performing in front of people, the roar of applause, ... God, if that doesn't do it for you then why bother.  I mean, some people enjoy making fools of themselves too, but it is all in fun.  Personally, when I want to 'pick someone up', I just go and do it.

 ...come to think of it, I have had people send over drinks many times after I sing.  That is so awesome when it happens.

 Sing from your heart.  Whether or not you need practice.  Your skills as a singer will dovelope in time, and you can always take lessons.  Do not try to sound like someone you are not, sound like you.  Sound like someone who loves the song you are singing, and let that emotion come out.

 ...and remember kids, should someone fall for your singing act, just tell them: Sorry, Moma.  My heart belongs on stage.

ya!  welcome to the madhouse (you have noooooo idea).....i love to sing on stage and i get a huge kick out of having fun with the crowd....it's not a performance i'm looking for.....it's the fun....oh yeah....and the attention... ....i want to be up there ALL the time, forget all the other singers!

now let me do the proper thing and get back off topic.....crystal, i like my southern man in levi's .....just a little snug, worn and no belt....oh yeah, unbuttoned too.....

That's the biggest reason I host karaoke!  It certainly isn't for the money.

If my singing lifts somebody's spirits, either by humor or by actually touching them, then, yeah, it's nice to pick someone up...but it's not a reason I sing!
