I've gotten the wild hair to try something new, and I figured this board could be a good resource for suggestions as to what I should try.  So here's the list of my "best"....extrapolate at will:

On The Dark Side--John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band (aka Eddie & The Cruisers)
Love To Lay You Down--Conway Twitty
Chantilly Lace--The Big Bopper
Amie--Pure Prairie League
Black Water--The Doobie Brothers
Interstate Love Song--Stone Temple Pilots
Don't Be Cruel--Elvis Presley
Ring Of Fire--Johnny Cash
Tainted Love--Soft Cell

I don't know if I just need to update my material, or just try soemthing else entirely....all suggestions welcome

As an aside...has anybody ever seen The Phantom of The Opera on a karaoke disc?  I mean the duet title song...

Maybe some new alternative type music? How about some "Theory of a Deadman"?
"Nickelback"? "Godsmack"?
From the list of your best, it would seem that you have a low pitched voice and can easily do these artists.
I remember hearing mentioned here that most people's voices sound higher pitched than they think they actually are. Not in my case. I'll try to do a song at a higher pitch and think I'm nailing it, and it all sounds like "Pearl Jam".  :ggof:

My "natural" voice is low baritone/bass, but I can get tenor and even falsetto...when I'm not fighting a sinus infection.

I'll look into some of those.   From what I've heard of Creed, I can probably do them, too.

That Phantom song ROCKS!!!  And if I can find the disc, and the right partner, I think we'd bring down the house!!

I think "Enjoy The Silence" might be me...

That would be fun!  I don't think I could do all those high notes, though!  :)
