Anyone ever sing Karaoke in one of the Karaoke chat rooms on Yahoo.com?
They have several. Was wondering if anyone else had seen or done this?

You sing your song over vocie chat into the chatroom and people can talk and listen in etc. One person acts as the KJ and everyone else takes turns-like at the karakoe bar.

Tried it a couple of times The one I had fun in each would take a turn playing a mp3 and we would play name that tune...Talk about some off the wall stuff.....

All 2 INCHES WORTH!

Hey I need to come back up to the T-BIRD again and stay the evening this time. Hmmm Maybe when I get the KS Mags with your story in it. think you can sweet talk Charmin and Matt and Tig into coming up??? Lay some of that SWEET LONMAN on them!!!

Sounds good to me, warning the weekends have gone insane rotation size since smoking ban went into effect - well everywhere BUT there  :D

Haven't had to for quite some time...1990 Paltalk had live coffee houses..Of course you always got the obnoxious individual that had to be banned for putting his microphone in front of an Easy Listening station playing all Carpenter's muzak and going to sleep, (talk about spamming an interactive A/V room)..Speaking of "Live entertainment" without leaving the house, time to run, the nightly dance program starts in a few.

Sounds like fun!  What do you have to have (besides a voice, of course ) ?  Do you have to have a microphone that hooks up to your computer or something?  Sorry to sound like a real duh, but I really don't know...

I've never tried it becasue I didn't know about it... I'll try it this weekend and let you know how it goes..

I used to do that. Can't recall what place it was, but they had all kinds of "singing rooms". It was kinda fun, but kinda dorky at the same time. Not many people sound too good singing directly over their little PC mics, and you'd hear all the "live" noises too. But I did meet some cool people there. They had about 4 rooms for nothing but Bluegrass music. (I think it was all old timers except me, hahaha) But it was fun. When I had to install a new hard drive I never got it back though. Heck, THIS place takes up all my free time.  :dancin:




Kurt, one of these days we'll make that trip- promise. I'd love to meet you again, and get to meet Matt, Tig, & lonman. Same conditions though- I get to do the driving.  :wink:

Looks like Ill be getting the papers back from KS this mid month so--maybe last 2 weekends of Feb as Ill be planning to take another road trip up there ot drop them off.

Will be difficult to round anyone up tho--do to work scheds. Nobody could get away last time. So I was flyin solo on that one.
