Ok You are at your favorite bar and all the magic is there.. A stranger approaches you and says I am your guardian angel.. You have time for one more song Which one would you like to sing for the last song then we must go....What is the last song you would sing? I know which one I would but will not reveal it for awhile..
Another question is should they play songs you have recorded at your funeral? Just some simple questions.......

There was a time that even the KJ know what my last song is. When sent the slip he would say 'woo, going home already?'
GOODBYE by Air Supply
change the 'goodbye' to 'goodnite'

Too bad no one has Jim Carroll Band's "All My Friends Who Died" on karaoke yet.
I guess I'll stick with a Karaoke Kamikaze and see how it would be so ironic in what I sung.

last song choice for me would be Stairway to Heaven.
I think it would be cool to have them play my songs at the funeral.

Good questions. I think my last song would be "I Am The Highway" by Audioslave since That's my chosen occupation, and it's my favorite kj's favorite song that I do. Weird.....I got to sing the very last song at karaoke the other night and guess which one it was? (see above)
It's funny, I already discussed this stuff with my wife a couple weeks ago after a young friend's funeral. A 35 year old dude shot to death in a home invasion robbery. :( I know, TMI....but it's kind of relevant to the subject.
During the calling before the service they were playing rock tunes like "Freebird", then they immediately switched to "Amazing Grace" when the service started. I thought I was gonna lose it....I hate funerals. :crying2:
As far as playing songs that I've recorded, sure, why not? I think that would be the ultimate tribute. A proper ending to the life of a music lover. Not many people would ever have the opportunity to even discuss the probability of such a send off....unless you're a member of KS and a karaoke junkie, and everybody knows it. :biggrinthumb:
