Any games that you play on a slow night??  Babs does a thing called scareoke where the audience screams out a number and whoever is up has to sing the song.

What are some of your favorite time killers???

wow, how did i miss this topic?  we have a drinking game that we play
(imagine that!)  we dont really have a name for it, but the jist of it goes like this.  i pick a song at random and the next singer has to follow with either a song by the same artist, a song with at least one of the same words in the title (a, the, in, etc. don't count), or if the song was done by a band the singer has to do a song by a memebr of the band who has gone solo.  one catch, you can't use the monitor!  if you can't do it, you have to take a shot of whatever the singer before you is drinking!  we usually get VERY drunk on these nights.

another good game, that doesn't take as long to explain is All Request Night where the previous singer picks your next song.  We don't try to trick people here.  we generally want them to do a song they haven't done in awhile or a song the was truly LOVE!

I have dirty versions of about 150 songs. On slow nights I call up our known singers and make them do songs they know but with the on screen lyrics redone in dirty versions which I wrote. (I have a perverted mind LMAO ) But it's usually a lot of fun seeing some great singers crack up while singing me picks. Types of songs: "With Legs Wide Open" "Stuck In The Middle Of Who?" "Poontang Sally" etc.

I'm always looking for new ideas. I figure if I'm getting bored they must be getting bored too. I like the idea of a drinking game. I don't think Crankit's game will work for me. I don't think my people know the songs well enough to even try to sing without the tv monitor. Any other ideas?

One I tried recently was a round of trivia. They had to answer a trivia question about the bar. Who ever got the answer right got to sing. There was about 10 people. If you answered a question correctly and sang you couldn't guess any more until everyone had a turn. It established the nights beginning rotation. It was fun for one round only though.

Robdog - that must be a hoot! Could you pm me the words to poontang Sally? I have to listen to that song every night at karaoke. I think it would help kill the boredom of it.
