Hello to all the karaoke addicts out there. It is nice to find a very active forum on karaoke.
The wife and I have been running karaoke shows for 10+years now, and have gone to computer based system about 2 years ago.
I look forward to being an active member of this forum, and hope I don't piss off too many people
One question....How do you turn HTML on in my posts?

Hello twansenne,
Where in IA are you located? I was born in Altuna, lived in Des Moines & Fort Madison (I know, nowhere near each other!) and also lived in Newton = Home of Maytag. I still have family in Newton....
My husband and I have been KJ'ing for almost 10 years now... We're not on computer yet but it sure sounds alot lighter!
Enjoy!
Susie

Hi twansenne,
I don't guess we've made a proper introduction yet, heh heh...
My hubby and I come from a long line of karaoke singing folk; Irish on my side, been singing in the pubs for hundreds of years, .
We're raising three lovely children, 2 singers and a quiet snow-boarder in the quaint State of Maine.
My guy has been a Member for a looooong time and it's a very friendly site for singers and a lot of friendships are made here. I've been a member a short time and have managed to rustle a few feathers, . (The Irish, again...) .
Anyhoo, nice to meetcha! Have fun!
Roxie

Hello..Full House....We based out of Iowa Falls (Middle of nowhere). We have 3 regular gigs in this area, qand also do a lot of weddings in the season, and then travel a bit more. We have a doughter that is 7, and her voice is developing too. It amazes me that she like some of the 70/80's music I like. LOL
And Hello to POPSTAR, Not properly introduced... I know I probably will ruffel the feathers!!

LOL<snip> LOL - Our daughter is soon to be 27 & our son is soon to be 29... They both know & like 60's Folk and 70's rock! Of course they each have their own, very diverse, music styles but both sing and, in my opinion, are good at it!
I'm sure you have & will continue to have lots of fun singing with your daughter!

I dunno...see if it works in preview.....
Yep it works...Wonder what I was doing wrong before? THe URL tags wouldn't code the link.
