Fifty years ago this evening (1/12/56) Frank Sinatra entered Capitol's KHJ Studios on Vine St. and recorded what is considered by many his best recording ever - "I've Got You Under My Skin". The arrangement is also considered to be Nelson Riddle's finest work. That evening, these two men along with thirty four other musicians made musical history. So my fellow Rat packers, a toast to these two musical geniuses and to those who try to keep this music alive.....Lee.

I'm a rat packer for sure. I long for a great version of the Birth of the Blues by Sammy Davis Jr. A Karaoke dream come true :)
