Thanks you two ! feelings of course are mutual !
Yep, It was a good day... One of those days you want to have memories of...So when the family was over.. I got out the camcorder, and filmed the get together...I'm not one for photo's, certainly not one to show other's family photo's either....But the folks are getting up there in years.... and I want to have some nice memories on film..
You should've seen the precious look on everyones face when I was shoveling down the cake, while snorting and belching, and cracking jokes that I laughed so hard at, I was passing food thru my nose.....It was like something out've a Hallmark card ! My parents have every reason to be proud of their first, and oldest accident :dunce: :baby1: :ggof: :ggof:

My parent's kinduh put me in my place when I started bitching about the sound of Fifty....
They responded with, "You think we like the sound of, or feel 70 and 80 ?" and as
Kelly said...It beats the alternative !!!

I can proudly boast that I am FAR more immature than either one of you. That's why I'm cracking up...... "Kappy 50"...... AO <Spew>, It's got to be a joke....Man, God has a more sarcastic sense of humor than I do

I'm glad the tooth fairy really does exist... In the 50's and 60's, the cheap bastard only paid a quarter per tooth.... That must be up to around $3 now ! A set of guitar strings, or a gallon of gas !!
I'd be able to buy a yacht if I could find a straight hair fairy !
You see, it's not that I'm overly concerned that they come around when you're asleep.... Oh, Did I mention I sleep on my stomach
Incidently, Anyone looking to purchase real estate in central CT. Very shortly it will be a buyer's market around here.. One can anticipate extremely affordable homes in this area within the not too distant future....
I'm buying a Karaoke machine with the birthday money !
Need to see if I can get the RSQ triple-tray model in rack mountable so I can start consolidating components

Now THIS is funny !!! As if the EPA would actually lift the ban
btw, did you know that there are only 354 days left until I get my next star in here ?
(Just when I was feeling some relief about the holidays, and all the intense stuff being behind me too).... It's always something, Murphy's Law I suppose

Quote: personally i think u went to the near by music store and took that pic....but ur old now so u can get away with more things
Sorry Billy, I didn't see this yesterday, I was in a fog like usual. OK, well more-so than usual: Which picture in my photo gallery are you speaking of ? The one I took at Sam Ash Keyboard Center, or Manny's guitar room that I hope to pawn off as being my own studio ?
Hey, what can I do ? If I told people that I'm just a frustrated ex-jock who was the captain of his 8th grade Kickball team for two consecutive years, how would that enable me to get laid in a music venue ? One must be adaptable in this day and age...You should see the motorcycle collection I have, the one I showed the guy's over at the Harley Davidson forum.. (no, not in hopes of getting lucky of course).. I was just trying to be manly, and hang with the guys. (well, not exactly hang with the guys...you know what I'm trying to say)

Fellow Angel's. This is my Goldwing. It look's small because in order to get it to fit on standard film. I had to back two miles away fron it. It has genuine Knabe tires too, and is a fine Axe

Gail, Just spotted your tag. Pretty much exactly how I feel about all chat venues, and the bulk of the internet for that matter... Unless we use the net for work, or as a means of seeking emotional support because our resources in real are very limited... The net ideally should be stress-free fun (or as much fun as one can have when dealing with other personalities)...When people become miserable over a situation involving an altercation with a faceless, nameless character online, and lose site of why they have internet accounts, it's likely time to find a new hobby. Learning to separate internet life, from real life can become quite a chore, Especially for those of us that spend MANY hours a day online

Thank you Timbo. Much appreciated ! I too am in the process of trying to figure out the best approach for hooking up intruments and vocals to a computer...This is a new area for me... So I've just been reading, & reading, glancing at numerous bboards, and asking way too many questions

I don't stop with the internet, Steve. That's the way I feel about life, period.
I went to a laughologist several years ago and described my condition...depressed, ill-tempered, excessive appetite...and he said my condition was in the last stages. Surgery was the only option I had available. To save my life, he performed an emergency grumpendectomy. Recovery time was short, indeed, and I've never felt better! Occasionally I have a mild relapse, but I talk to a sponsor (usually Melly. If you ever need a sponsor, keep her in mind) and I'm good to go in a short time.
Let me know if you need his number. LOL

Phill,
Have you ever run an IP check on this dude ? I can't be certain, but I think he's stalking me...Every thread I participate in, he reads...and not just a couple of times either ! This guy often read's threads more than I do, and in the 35 years he's been a member of KS....Not once has he typed anything, or submitted anything to SInger's Showcase... Something isn't right about this person

Glad to see that you've finally come to terms with the denial......... :jk:
Anyhow, hope you had a great nifty 50....we're all headed in that direction I guess. :( :newlol:
All I really care about though is the possible lack of libido when the time comes, everything else is just superficial. I mean, who wants a wife running around in bars giving pick up lines like........"Yeah, I'm married, but he's of no use to me anymore". :newlol:
I've actually heard that one before from some old hag. I thought to myself.....nice lady..................NEXT!!

I don't even have a life.......
Quote: Glad to see that you've finally come to terms with the denial Oh, You've got me blushing now... but nah, I was proud of this long before I hit 30 this past week Quote: All I really care about though is the possible lack of libido when the time comes, everything else is just superficial. Just when I thought I'd already experienced ALL there is to worry about OK, Whew ! You said "when the time comes", Good thing this is absurdly hypothetical ~ Quote: I mean, who wants a wife running around in bars giving pick up lines like........"Yeah, I'm married, but he's of no use to me anymore".
(A word of sage, ALWAY'S stay single and mess around with girl's under the drinking age; Why do you think older guy's are so attracted to the young females ? (They can't easily get into bars and say emasculating things).. I've found that fewer women say this type of thing when they have to travel great distances to find a receptive listener too, Which is why the moment you marry, it's imperative that you move to a rural location far from coffee bars, and school campuses too; Make sure you don't have many neighbor's near-by either ! Many people think once a person marries, they tend to cut off alot of their single friends, become more distant..This is ABSOLUTELY true ! It's a necessary thing to do lest your wife will have more sources to to discuss your inadequacies with.
Another option of course is, (if you must marry) always keep the telephone out've your wife's reach, between that and putting good quality locks on her cage, you can eliminate much of your founded concern). The electric fence should help allay the rest of these concerns*
*People don't seem to take me seriously for some reason when I state that if you don't have the money to put a good quality electric fence around your home, you are too young to get married !
Thank's Perry but the birthday's over now, I'm no longer 50 (thank God)

This is the second time I had to rush to the bathroom to take a Dramamine. All that movement upset's the inner-ear, and get's we old frail one's motion sick....Can you please post that cheerleader closer up, and with less movement ?
Thanks
