Hello .....newbie here in this forum. have been backing up my disks for years using CDRWin, Microstudio and always a plextor. Came here to ask if anyone has ever had any problems playing their backed up copies to the new Flecco-DVD-20K. I have NEVER had a problem until I used this system with one of my back ups (I like to keep my originals in mint condition and I am not a KJ-just a home system for myself). But since I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of cdgs I like to play my own back ups at home, but this flecco is driving me nuts. It hesitates at 2 spots, one at beginning and one in the middle. Same disks play flawlewssly in my SMG900 and both of my JVCS. anyone else have any ideas? maybe flecco has built in something to make this happen?

Fleco has never been the symbol for reliability.  I would actually rate their equipment further down the list than VocoPro.  
Some players are designed NOT to play cdr discs - this sounds like one of them.

Thanks so much for your reply. I am at my wits end with it and now think I will just return it. I did not know that ANY brands were designed NOt to play CDR, especially if I am using Mitsui cdr. No one else i know including some KJS have ever heard of this either.....any other brands that anyone knows that are designed NOT to play cdr would be good info for us all!!!

Sorry, let me back up a step, I worded wrong, I didn't mean NOT designed to play CDR, I meant some just DON'T play CDR, although it is rare in newer units.

Some older radios shack units hate some cd-r's and likes other's.
