OK BadSinger, in one minute it will be January 4th, or the day following my one year anniversary date here (california Time), Will I have a star ?
:drums: The answer is NO LMAO
You don't suppose the 240 Email's to Data Center today asking for my Star rubbed them the wrong way, do you ?
Anyway, time to crash, later all.

Kappy if you spin in circle really fast and then stop suddenly you can see lots of discs.
I did it for you - as far as I can see you have at least 4 more. LMAO with a little puke on them.

Why no star for Stevie. I think Phil reprogramed the site to exclude you from getting the star. LOL

Thank's Crystal, While I was spinning in circle's really fast like Bab's suggested, your Star must've arrived !
Somewhere between 12:45 AM and 1:15 AM the morning following our 1 year anniversary date (California time), it arrives I suppose; That is assuming a person actually paid attention to such trivial thing's . (Calculation's assume that there was no star present under my avatar when you last posted -my time- Badsinger 3:46 AM).
<----------- :banger:
(and thank's for calling Phill at home on the eastcoast and waking him up to remind him Badsinger, I've reimbursed you for the LD Phonecall from Asia.. The check's in the mail ! )

, My eye's aren't that good BadSinger...Look's the same as the other's to me, There might be a reason for that assuming you are correct tho BadSinger.... That'd be because *I* am the worst singer on this site LMAO
Either that, or it's one of those provisional type Star's.. You know like in Highschool, the kid's that "graduated with an asterix" ? They award them the certificate with the rest of their class at the Highschool graduation ceremony, thing is they have to take summer school to get their GPA up or they don't actually get the diploma; When Phill see's this thread, my Star will likely disappear, along with me LMAO

, Yes Cindy !! I've achieved one of those "Right's of passage" to Stardumb.. or is it stardom ?
Thank's Cindy. Did you get hammered with this latest sleet/snow mix Upstate ? I've got to shovel out've this heavy snowfall. Road's are ice-skating rink's again here in central CT.

Not yet. Right now ... there is freezing fog. Weird stuff, huh? However, they are predicting about 2-5 inches of snow for us... starting this afternoon. Right now its about 22 degrees and the fog is sooooo dense... its very eerie!!
Happy shoveling!!

We got about 8-10 inches of Snow & freezing mix Monday, and all night into Tuesday. Naturally the plow's push the heavy mix into the cars, it's one of the benefit's of having bargain basement ground's maintenance companies.

WOW ..... thats a LOT of shoveling!!!
I know whatcha mean about the plows being idiots .... last time we got a 6 inch fall ... they plowed the entire street ... and DUMPED it right next to the driver's door of the van. It took HOURS to shovel it.... because it was the equivalent of like ... 2 feet! IDIOTS. I called the city and gave 'em a piece of my mind, too!
Be VERY careful on that ice, Steve. I fell really hard last year... and my back has never been the same. Worst part of falling... is finding the footing to get back up. I swear ... I went down three times... before I finally was able to stand again. So.... be very careful.

It's true Cindy. A few week's back we had similar ice condition's. When your feet slip forward and you land on your back it seem's to happen in a really smooth slow motion, your feet just slide forward, and KABOOM, when you try to catch your footing, that's when you end up airborn, and landing on your upper back... I'm lucky, happened to me a few times last year on the step's, and once this year in the parking lot..Didn't get hurt, but still felt that tingling springlike sensation of when you land on a not so cool part of your body. Scared the %&*$ out've me when I landed on my neck on the steps.. I was lucky and learned not to allow that to happen again. The important thing IMHO is NEVER keep your hand's in your pocket's when walking across ice, When it's really cold I tend to keep my hand's in the coat pocket's while walking...and that's not a good thing to do... You need to use them to break the fall sometimes.... There's a proper way to do that too (or else you can break the wrist or arm)... It can be VERY dangerous Cindy, especially as people get older, and the bones become more brittle. It's nothing I look forward to happening.. Despite how much I like to see the neighbor's laugh.

Most DEFINATELY dangerous!!!
My mom.. now 76, fell five years ago going to her mailbox. Landed on her back... and literally couldn't move. The neighbor happened to look out the window and see her lying on the sidewalk. She fractured three bones and broke a rib. She healed.. but it took nearly an entire year. She still has reoccuring pain from it, too.
Yea... breaking a fall can be tricky... if you don't do it right, ya end up with broken wrists... and then you are truly at the mercy of someone finding and helping you.
Again... I say ... BE VERY CAREFUL.

Yep Cindy, Hope your mom heals quickly, My dad broke his first bone at 78, this year in Sept 05 (his hip), and had to go to rehab after he got out've the hospital for physical therapy... Doing fine now after they pinned the femur. He was at a place in the Berkshires playing ping-pong, fell against the table, not even a hard fall at all...Stuff that wouldn't even bruise a kid, can break an older person. Bone density changes.... Dang... We start to fall apart
Anyway, it's getting light outside, end of another day I need to get a few hours sleep, take care.

Karyoker, earlier when you mentioned the miner's, I hadn't watched new's or read a paper in days, To be quite honest, I didn't even know about the episode :( Turn's out that according to my America Online screen. That was a rumor, they didn't survive. I heard about the incident for the first time a few hours after you'd mentioned it.

Congrats on the star, Steve!! I ate a pound of Milo's blue M&Ms and drank a bottle of Hershey's syrup to celebrate! I called Melly and reminded her of your sojourn to greatness ( ) and she drank a bottle full of Jose to celebrate. ('Course I had to drag out my Buttershots, add it to my coffee and join her. She HATES to drink alone.) So...how does it feel to belong? Was it all you hoped it to be? LMAO
