I always thought new years resolutions were an excuse to procrastinate throughout the previous year to better yourself.

"Yeah, I can eat this, just this once... My new years resolution is going to be to lose weight"..

Start now! You are fat NOW!

Ignore me.

Anyways.... any resolution you make... why wait to do on new years.. why not ALWAYS be doing it! if it is such a good idea... ALWAYS DO IT!!

blah blah blah.

Okay time to be serious

Every year mine is the same:

I try not to say anything behind someones back that I wouldn't say to their face.

I try to remember to find the good in people 1st before I think the bad.

I get better at it each year - New Years Resolution just reminds me to try to be a better person

Okay done being serious

This year my New Year's resolution is to sit around typing online more, and to get fat, dumpy, and out-of-shape.   I'm also going to move the refrigerator closer to the computer, so I don't hurt myself getting out've the computer chair.  I've also promised myself to eat a better balanced diet consisting of all the major food groups.  Pizza, Chinese, Mexican, Soda, and Chocolate. It's crucial I adhere to this resolution too for health purposes. Without making such alterations to my life-style, I might die of boredom !

(Pretty much the same list as last year, except last year I was too damned lazy to get up to move the fridge)

But then you'll have to change your name on here and I'll have no idea who this "Goodsinger" is and why is he stealing that other guys info.

As for me, I'm seeing how long I can abstain from certain things, I've been doing the abstination thing this for the past couple years. And if not it's very moderate if I did break the abstination.   I never had an illegal drug in my body for over the past ten years, never a cigarrette in my whole life, never paid for alcohol but had a drink of alcohol until mid march (because it was offered free and water and soda cost more $), no caffeine until late October (I had to pull a morning shift after getting off of work that fallowing midnight) and no *wink wink* until two hours past Midnite of 01-01-05 (and I really did try)

I resolve to stop smoking this year....but here I am at 4:30am 01/01/06 with a Marlboro light in my hand/mouth/hand sitting at this bumbox.
I tend to smoke way too much while on the bumbox, so, I guess I should give up the bumbox too? :newlol:

I resolve to re-organize my finances....yeah right.  :(
I make a decent living, but I'm broke. Makes alot of sense.
I don't even have any "Jones' " to try to keep up with, so I must be leading my own struggle. :newlol:

I resolve to tell nasty, rude, and cynical people to kiss my f'ing ***.....well, atleast that's what they tell me anyways. :newlol:

I resolve to stop buying automobiles that I can't drive all at once. I just keep a spare around just in case because I know my daughter will need another one by next year because the one I gave her last year will be totally thrashed. I'm not to the point of redneck cars in the yard on jackstands yet, but given the chance, yes, sad but true, I'm a car lover. Maybe I'll trade all of them now for one mucho, megabuck ride that I can leave sitting in a parking lot for 4 days a week while I'm gone playing with big trucks? :newlol:

I have alot more to resolve, but I can't candidly elaborate on it here, and I bet y'all are thinkin', this dude's got issues.....:newlol:

My New Year's Resolution this year is simple:

No more Checkuary!

If you don't know what Checkuary is, it's the month that falls between December and January when you're writing a check for the new year and end up putting the old year on the check!  So... NO MORE CHECKUARY'S!!!!!!!!!! :D
