I got to hang out at KS all by myself today...does that count? :newlol:

Nobody here at home liked it much either. Thought I'd listen to a few more songs in SS.

There are some really talented people here at KS. I guess that was my Christmas.

Don't break my nose now....LMFAO!

Naw...I didn't get to see my daughter and grandson because she's a selfish 22 year-old without a life plan.

I didn't have any buddies to give me squat.

Mom gave me some Levi's and a shirt that fit for once in 40 years, and me and the wife fed her.

Otherwise, it was a nice, quiet day mostly by myself here at KS. :newlol:

But I don't have to hit the road again until Tuesday. :nana:    :newlol:

L:ife is not complete without at least one good buddy.   You can tell if he is a really good buddy cause the wife will be jealous of him....But never forget that the buddy will still be there when the wife decides to run.

Go find you a good buddy and keep him. :D

Woo Hoo!
I received a Audio Technica 3000 series wireless mic.

The best part is spending time with family, but I'll take the mic any day.

I got a walmart gift card which I quickly turned into 2 KaraokeEXtreme discs.
my take is why did MTU choose such a loser Karaoke manufaturer such as karaoke bay to link a home version of Hoster to? They're not making a  lot of money at $11.88 a disc.

I specifically told everyone not to get me karaoke stuff as that's my full time job now and I'd rather buy it myself and be able to deduct it all.

It looks like Babs is out front with the Audio Technica 3000 series wireless mic! :hi5:

Pkirtcher, just tell them to include the receipts with the karaoke gifts so you can show them to the IRS-don't shoot yerself in the foot.

Mom is gonna be ticked when she sees I cut the long sleeves off that shirt she gave me.

Santa brought a 250 gig external hard drive. (hey wait, I was Santa....)  Not necessarily for karaoke, just for more storage.....

Keith, tell mom the 'critters' got a hold of that shirt and ripped the sleeve right off - and if it hadn't been for that shirt, they just might have got your arm instead... Of course, you had to make the other sleeve match. (think she'll buy it????)

DannyG, maybe I got lucky, but the Karaoke Bay cdgs I have are pretty decent, much better than a couple of SGB's I quit using.

We had a great Christmas!  Both our kids, their spouses and children came over for our traditional Christmas Eve gathering.  Our son, his wife & their son came by Christmas morning.  Richard & I went out for dinner (I cooked the traditional Christmas Day dinner tonight instead) and went to a hocky game.  Lots of fun!  Since we are KJ's and own a retail karaoke store we didn't get each other karaoke items but we did get some CD's...

Our favorite gifts, besides being together and enjoying each other's company, were the family photo, the 1st year scrapbook of our youngest grandson by our daughter and school photos of our oldest grandson.

Merry Christmas (albeit belatedly) & Happy New Year!
Susie :)

I think this is my first post, though I've checked in to read periodically.  Anyway, Santa/the girlfriend brought me an RSQ player, two RSQ mikes, and about 15-20 discs.  My buddy runs a show one night a week in Philly, and got me into karoake by going to the bar and hanging out with him pounding pitchers and eating wings, then hanging out on LBI with him just attending shows.

Now I guess I'm totally on the dark side with my own machine.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

Mrs Claus gave me 8 Disc Gear 100FX disc storage units.

I no longer haul my discs around with me any more but I use them every week for reimporting and some custom burns for myself. This will come in real handy finding them quickly. No more leather binders, or disc spindles to deal with.

I can catalog and print out a list online. :oh yeah:
