I am doing some upgrades and modifications to the forums.
If you see a change in your post count this is the reason. I am soon going to implementing some other features SOON!
I will post these changes in this Forum when I do.
You may have noticed that I added a chatroom. This is still in development (style modification) but it is active and useful.
Please note: 1) You must be a registered member to use & 2) Same rules apply! So keep it nice & friendly!
Thx

Sir, could you tell me
1) How I can rate the use of an "avatar"? I see it has something to do with the number of posts (songs or forum messages?)

Well, I'm not a "sir"... but I think I have an answer for you:
First, it does have to do with how many posts you have, which then accumulates points. You have to have at least 25 points to "buy" the use of your avatar.
Second, once you have your 25 points, you go over there
<---------
to the little black boxed 'Member Area' and click on 'Forum Shop'. Once you've opened the shop, click on the Special FX Shop. The first section is where you "purchase" your avatar.
Go into the forums and make a bunch of silly posts and rack up your 25 points.
Hope that helps you.

Rita, you're a sweetheart! I wondered where those points came from!! But here's the bad news. I have purchased the avatar ... the store says I own it ... but my control panel STILL WILL NOT LET ME HAVE ONE BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE THE REQUIRED TEN POINTS! I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER SINCE AUGUST AND HAVE BEEN TRYING TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE WITH THE WEBMASTER EVER SINCE. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY FRUSTRATING BEYOND BELIEF. IF IT SOUNDS LIKE I'M ANGRY, I AM! THERE IS NO WHERE TO GO ON THIS SITE TO FIND THESE THINGS OUT!!
Rita, I'm going to try to donate your 25 points back to you! Thank you so much for trying to help, but the website can HAVE its avatar!! At least YOU'LL know me, !!

You do not have the required 10 Posts!
You can buy the privelege for 25 points but you need to also have 10 posts!
Hmmm, wonder why it didn't say that?
I'll look into that.

New to the site, and am glad I started reading alot of the posts before asking a question (like the one this thread has revolved around) to find out anything. Yes this may be considered a "useless post" but you do what ya' gotta do eh? Thanks all.

Hello administration. I am having continuous problems retrieving comments to reply to.Is there a reason for this that you know of?Is there something on my end I may need to check? I could be fine making replies, and suddenly have comments posted on a sing to me, I can't seem to reply to.I have on sing from over a week ago. Ventura Highway, that has 3 comments I haven't been able to touch. When it occurs, and I click to reply, it returns to the submission page for the song. Could you help me out please?
Thank you

I have no idea what you mean by these statements?
However, try this:
1) make certain that you are logged in
2) Be sure to update/modify your profile.
3) Turn off all popup blockers or add the singersshowcase.com site to the approved list.
Hope that helps...

Hello Administrator, i'm having terrible problems with logging in, submitting and repling to comments the whole nine yards, My harddrive recently crashed big time, would that have anything to do with it. I don't need to reregister my account do i? I'm not a happy camper at all, on the login page to the site and the forum, the username space is totally white, and the song title and space to put the song disk info is white, and in order to get logged on i have to reenter it three times in order to log on. Is there anything to do to solve these problems? All help will be most appreciated.
Thanks a mill  Hanna
I need help. Don't know what to do.

Not certain, try this:
Delete all cookies
(In Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options... -> Under General Tab -> Click Delete Cookies {While you are at it -> Click Delete Files as well} These may take awhile depending upon the last time you did this.
Now go to the Karaoke Forums and Login
Then go to Singers Showcase and login
Once you are logged in click "Modify" and make any updates to your profile and click "Submit"
Hopefully, this resolves the problem.

Thanks Phil, but i'm still having problems, but not as bad, the username bracket
is still white, and it still takes three times to log in in SS site and the forum, don't know whats up with that, but i'll keep with it till i can solve the problem. Also in the to modify i only have save and reset buttons, no submit button so i hit save.
Thanks a mill appreciate the feedback.

Okay "Save" I couldn't fully remember...
That is really strange. I will see if I can discover what is happening. I am asking some folks who helped develop the forums...
I'll let you know - keep me informed as well - PM me so that we don't confuse folks more...
Ha ha
