Oh, sometimes I think "trolling" isn't so bad......... atleast it kept the forums alive.

Better to be a bit rowdy than "dead" like it has been.  Whatever the heck it takes to get people out of their corners.

It seems to be livening up a bit in places though........ Hmmmmm....... and only while I was AWAY.  :shock:  Maybe I should remain a silent observer like I have been. (?) Nah, doesn't fit my personality to just sit back and shut up.  :swg:

I don't know how much time I'm going to have, but I've started listening to a few songs.... so you know what that means.  :oops:

Things might start picking up again after all. I just hope I will have enough time to check in on the forums and keep up on at least some of the posts (looks like that hasn't been much of a challenge lately though).

You know, it has picked up here lately.......... 223 posts since my last visit- wow. It's usually 20-something.  Maybe someone spiked everyone's eggnog?

Good to see you 2 are back to participating, so many people leave and never come back.  I don't get as much time here anymore.......... dang boss actually expects me to show up and WORK in order for him to give me a paycheck. (silly, old fashioned man!!)   And I can't usually do this evenings and weekends, so........... I just grab what bit of time I can here & there & hope I don't miss the fun stuff.

And looks like I have tons to catch up on now.  :dancin:

I just didn't have much time lately to post, or sing....
I canceled my paid subscription because I was never here and figured it was a waste of money.

I really like the weekly themes, but I didn't like being the one to have to remember to post the polls every week (and most people didn't vote anyway).  And then the theme didn't get changed until midweek. It was just too much work and frustration,  so I gave up, and no one else wanted to do it, either, which is why now it never changes...

We traveled a lot this past summer, and once I was home, I was exhausted and tried to spend a lot of time catching up on stuff.  Also, my karaoke machine went into Radio Shack to be repaired, but instead they demolished it and then I had to wait for them to give me the money, and then I had to buy a new one...this took a month or two. I did record a couple of songs on my PC but it wasn't as much fun.  So between not having much time and not having a karaoke machine... I got out of the habit of going here.

It seemed like people were already not posting much here then, and not commenting much on the songs any more, so I kinda felt like it was dying.  There seemed to be way more comments on the KSK site.  After  awhile, if you post and no one replies, there doesn't seem to be a reason to come back....

I think some people didn't like the fighting, or the rules, or other stuff, I have no idea.  People all have their own reasons for leaving a site and unfortunately, once a certain amount of people leave, it snowballs. I hope that isn't the case here!

I just got over being sick for the past month, too. I had started recording again, too.  Now that I am finally well again, I hope to start again and I will be posting songs!  Just not sure yet if it will be here or at KSK. I don't know if I have time for both.  And if the same people are at both, I don't know what the point of posting the songs twice is.

I stopped posting songs mostly because of lack of time and also my karaoke machine was broken.  And the last song I posted only got two comments so that was very disappointing.  As for the forum, I was posting and not many others were, so...it was kind of boring.  So since I didn't have much time anyway...I didn't check back until recently.
