Thanks for the reply. I must have gone on before you posted. I have a Dell Insprion Tower, running a NVDIA GeForce 256 AGP. Also, I am trying out Compuhost programs and when I go to rip to MP3+G I get an error message that my computers CD unit will not read the cdg sub code, but on another program that I downloaded, a MTU trial I had no problem getting the cdg's audios and lyrics, to play on my Sony CD-RW CRX140E computer. Do you have any suggetions or advice. I really liked the compuhost hoster. It has a lot of features that appeal to me.
I believe that card will work with the right adaptor (S Vid to RCA), if not, what you need to get yourself is a ATI Radeon graphics card with 128MB, supporting dual-display. It will have 1 VGA display connector and 1 S-video out, for singer's display. Just ask your local computor dealer for a ATI Radeon graphics card with these specs.
Once you have that installed, disable your NVDIA GeForce 256 AGP and away you go.
Re: CDRom, don't hessitate, take whatever you have, through it out and buy yourself a Pleaxtor CD R/W. Guaranteed to work. You can pick them up for < $50.-
Personally for software (I like) Karawin (freeware) winamp + plugins (free) or MTU's Hoster.
