Hi from Texas.  been running karaoke shows for about 12 years now.  just recently started getting into burning and downloading which will be a question i have in the technical section.  if you're ever in central texas and wanna drop by some saturday night, lemme know.  i'll reserve a mike for you!

Round Rock, eh?  I have family in Round Rock, and a niece that is a singer.  She's not quite old enough for the bar crowd yet, so do you do any family shows?

Are you on http://www.austinsings.com?  They show most of the karaoke shows in the area including p-ville RR and Bastrop.  I live South ATX so going up there on a weekend isn't much an option.  But if you have other days or further down I-35 let me know.

no family shows, yet.  i really only got back into KJing as a favor to a friend.  not that i don't like it (i love it!) but i like to travel and with every saturday taken it makes it difficult.  we DO allow kids in before 9pm and after 9pm they can stay as long as they are over 12 and their parent is there.  it's what we call a family hole-in-the-wall honky-tonk, neighborhood dive bar.  as for moving further down toward south austin, keep an eye out for a band called Go For Broke.  i sing with them and we'll be playing out some after the first of the year.  i know we'll be at the bbq cookoff at the rodeo for one.  i grew up....excuse me (wife won't let me say i grew up! ) i got older in south austin.  went to crockett high.  do you know where San Leanna is?
