Actually, I haven't been on much lately either, just been too busy- and haven't had much time for fun stuff. I betcha after the holidays are all over, people will get bored & they'll come looking for some fun here. (maybe)

I, for one, am always waiting for OTHER people to post first so I can reply...haha...I am laughing a little to myself while I am typing this because it sounds so silly. No, really, the reason I think I don't post is because I actually just became a member of the Singer's Forum and wanted to lurk around for a little before I started opening my big mouth. :)
I guess I should get over it, huh. Can't leave Charmin hangin, now can I??

OoOo...virtual Xmas party??? Count me in!
It's about 1:15 am...EST?? Just got back...was supposed to go to karaoke, but there are absolutely NO places that have karaoke around here, and we have to drive about 15 min to go on a Sat night. Instead, we (my fiance and I) went to a bar close to where we live and it is kind of raining/snowing here, so the whole 15 min driving thing was kind of out of the question. Oh well. It was worth a try I guess.
I can't really think of any cool topics to discuss right now...sorry. I'll be up for another half an hour or so, so if I think of anything...believe me, I'll be back.

Am getting a karaoke xmas party going at my place, in the open. hoping to get about 300 to 400 people.

Allison, We have 3 full time karaoke clubs within 7 min drive from my house, but I tend to go to another one that is 60km away.

You are so lucky. I have to wait for "karaoke nights" at local bars, and even at that they are normally on weeknights around here and I have to be at work at 7 am...so, needless to say, I don't really have the luxury of staying out until 1 am every night just to sing a few songs. I wish we had a full time karaoke bar...I think it would do really well!

I was at a karaoke club last nite, boy, the mic setting was all screwed up. The hi was boosted way too high, there was little mid and the lo was cut too much. At least the fx was not to bad. but the vol was way to high. I had to hold the mic a foot away.
Took me 3 songs to get used to it.
Some KJ just never learn.
But the crowd was good.

I think everyone got busy or left to go to that other place....personally I just don't have much time to record any more or post songs...maybe after the new year I will! Plus I have been sick for the past month....
