there ARE ways to crack it. CAVS SuperCDG is in reality a dvd disc... just a different format. BUT I personally have never tried it.
I'd do some searches for "copying SuperCDG to CDG" or something similar in Google. There are forums that other people have talked about it. It's a huge pain in the buttsky... but it is possible.

Commercial SCDG's contain a player that will work just fine on a PC.
Homemade SCDG's do NOT play on a pc unless you purchase a $70 application (last time I checked it was about $70) that is available at CAVSUSA.
SCDG players run in the $175-300 range depending on where you buy them from. Most will also play CDG's and DVD's without any problems.

So I got my disk and im trying to play this supercdg. I have to pay to play these? Is there another pc based program that will play these? I cannot believe that they would be so proprietary. I cant find any information about converting this disk back to mp3+g or cd+g.

It apears that I have to use their player, but when I downloaded it it will not open. This is just the play scdg player, they also have one called scdg sp which costs money. Argh!

and the cavs discs can be considered illegal copies as the rights haven't been paid for by cavs.

I dont know of any software that will convert from SCDG to CDG. Even CAVS says there are none. But heck, the $70 player is really cool so youm ight as well shell out the money. It plays super cd+g and regular cdg and even MP3+g files.

The various manus which have released Super CDG format discs have insisted that CAVS would never sell a program that would convert SCDG songs to individual MP3+G files (which would be the first step in a conversion from SCDG to CDG). I understand that CAVS actually has an agreement with these manus as a condition for their support of this format.
The CAVS 202G does have a slow load time. However, if you use two players this really isn't an issue.
