Hi I'm from Blackpool in the UK. I have been running a mobile disco, with karaoke for 4 years and have recently switched to laptop for my music, using Virtual dj, which is great. I also want to switch the karaoke side to mpgs.

Where would I buy mpgs from, or is there asite to download them from?

Also, which software could you recommend using for playing/viewing mpgs?

there is a lot of info out here... but sad to say, there's only one site that I KNOW of that's selling "legal" songs, and that's Top Hits Monthly. The format that they offer their songs in iseither CAVS mp3g, WINDOWS mp3g or the cdgs themselves.

Most folks just rip them and encode them into the format that their software recognizes... some use zip players, others don't.

Virtual Dj Plays karaoke and Video files. It maks a very nice karaoke show integrating music videos with karaoke.

The hosting options are limited but Virtual DJ is great with their updates, in the near future we will seen very nice Karaoke hosting from Virtual DJ as well a DMX lighting control.

What could someone want more from a software. Music, Video, Karaoke, and Lighting!
