Hi Guys...

I've been out of circulation lately... new job, etc...

One of the mics on my Gemini UX1620 set of two died... I'm not happy about it... I paid about $160.00 for the pair. They were adequate, sensitive to people tapping on the body of the mic. The line level was very low... I had to keep the mics' gain all the way up... as well as the channel level... to compensate with the other levels.

The question is... which wireless do you own... that has performed solidly... irregardless of price. I need to buy at least one... soon. The wires get tangled... you know! :(

Thanks!

2 options:

Sennheiser EW135-G2 $530

Shure PGX24 $399 or SlX24 $640

Sennheiser has a new less expensive microphone at $300 I have not tested it.

My Shure Uhf Wireless Mics have never failed me. I have used them for 8 years. I still have the first one I bought. The new ones use AA batteries and have a battery life of 8 hous compared to the 5 to 6 they got from a 9volt. Not to mention AA's are much cheaper.
