I have 2 Acesonic model #UWM-8216 cordless mic`s but no receiver. The mic`s are multi channel I think 16 but my question is this can I use any type of receiver to use these mic`s? They are UHF. Thanks for any info.

Buy something new it's not worth the cash on an inferior product.

Inexpensive Audio Techinica and Nady make ok products at $100 each

Middle priced are Shure VHF and Sennheisers new Freeport at around $300

I personally Suggest a Sennheiser G2 Now down to $529 from $599 or a Shure SLX $599

No unless recievers are made for that frequency that can not be used with other microphones. You need a reciever for each micorphone you intend to use. Some recievers are dual recievers.

The only way you can use the microphone that you currently have is by finding a reciever that works on the same frequency as the microphone.
The freq can generally be found inside the battery cover.
