My local dealer (guitar center)is offering me this particular model in replacement for my vocopro DVX-780K.
Anybody has some experience dealing with this model?.
How about RSQ reputation ?
It can be rackmountable?
One thing is sure, I'll get a full 2 year warranty this time.
Any advise will be appreciated.

All Vocopro is junk buy something else. Pick up an RSQ or JVC. Or check out a Pioneer DVD-V555

The JVC triple and single as well as the RSQ clones of these units are all now rack mountable. RSQ has provided rack ears that allow you to mount these units in a rack easily. I got a set from RSQ direct. They tried to steer me to a local or internet dealer, but none of them seemed to carry the ears ( at least not yet). If you do not want to go with the JVC, I would suggest the Numark. I own both units and each has it benfits. The JVC has a built in key changer and you can directly access a track by hitting the appropriate number. It also has only one video output so you will not need to worry about switching your input selector on your rf converter. The Numark is a more professional player. It gives the professional look when rackmounted and it feels more solid than the JVC. You can actually cue up a song while the other drawer is playing. However, you will need an external key changer (I got the Audio 2000s) and each side of the player has it own video outs. The Numark is really a good entry level DJ player with graphics decoding. All in all you won't go wrong with either, but many KJs have been useing the JVC/RSQ players for years and it will not require you to buy an external key changer. I must admit though that I really prefer using the Numark nowadays.
Cheers

Marley,
Read your post . I too have the Numark CDN25+G. It's really a great unit. Where I also have a laser disc player ( Pioneer CLD-V121G) I use my A/B switch between the right hand draw on the Numark and on the Pioneer ( which also plays CDG/CDV).
As far as the digital key changer, my Gemini KM 707 Mixer has one and the whole systems works flawlessly. BUT, it took a little getting used too, to remember to hit the switch when changing players. I spoke with a tech from Gemini last week and he told me they're producing a rig just like the Numark BUT it will supposedly have the
A/B switch AND the key changer built in. Should be interesting !!
Just sharing,
Donny "B"

The RSQ "clones" are actually made by JVC for RSQ.
