Mixer into maximizer, maximizer into powered speakers.
Get the XLR model maximizer.

BBE with powered speakers.
I you want not to lose quality buy a BBE 882i It has Balanced XLR in and Out
Yes they are $250 vs $100 but converting from xlr to 1/4" 1/4" back to xlr you lose alot of signal.

Well it will, however the amount of adapters you'll need will degrade the sound quality. You want to keep it as "balanced" as possible to eliminate that & possible sound interference. Switching from balanced to non-balanced & back from non-balanced to balanced completely defeats the purpose of being balanced in the first place.

No it is not. The 882i is the model with XLR connections.
