					| Try to get $150 or more, but it's getting much harder to find places to pay that these days - at least in this area! _________________LIKE Lonman on Facebook - Lonman Productions Karaoke & my main site via my profile!

					| I try to get $200 but won't go less than $150 myself.  I do know that there are guys doing it for less in my area but generally they have "substandard" gear, and song selection.

					| The average rate here in the Tampa Bay, FL are is about $125 for a 9:30-1:30 show, though I make $175 cause I rock and a buddy of mine pulls down $1250 for 7 nights ($178.50 a night average), 3 of which he kinda sub-contracts out and takes a cut (pays the guys $100 to use his equipment, takes the rest off the top) so he is making about $210 a night, which is the highest in the area I know of. There are some really crappy bars where 60 year old KJs play on VocoPro systems with CDGs that are 10 years out of date for $50-75 a night, though they really blow, as you may imagine!! A pro rig, good discs, and decent show gets you about $125 down here!! _________________

					| Won't play for less than $200.  But I do give a discount if the same place has me more than once a week.  I do it part time.  Have one gig that I have  been at the same place now for over 4 years.  I am there 3 nights a week and do it for $150 a night.  Only will go 1 hour overtime and that's an extra $50.

					| It seems every time this questioned is asked the average from coast to coast is about $150.00 per night to host a Karaoke Show at a local BAR/PUB/RESTAURANT.
Not to say some venues pay won't pay $250 per night or some KJ's aren't working for $75.  It does vary on your experiance and your personality and salesmanship.

I'm getting ready to start working again this Fall at my old venue on the Marina.
I'll be Booked for Thursdays ($75) & Saturdays ($125) for 4 hours per night.
Would LOVE to make more but the job is steady and I get to leave my equipment there from Thursday to Saturday  so I don't have to lug it in and out twice.

I have some KJ friends making $175-$200 per night but it always seems those jobs do not last that long ...  not sure why?

					| Illinois wages at a bar/pub, weekly gig... the average $150.00.  Private Parties, 4 hours, no less than $250.00 for strangers _________________
