was I grounded from ss ?  ...Phill? why does the site do that sometimes where you cant get in..for like all nite? new updates? upgrades? gremlins?

I am uncertain...
Anyone else experience troubles?
I think it may have been a Network down somewhere because I haven't seen any trouble.
At around 5 am eastern they do backups every night (morning) but that shouldn't effect you.
The server has been up and running very smoothly.

I could not access the site all nite or this morning. Was just able to an hour or so ago. I spoke with FinnPeter over in Finnland on the IM this morning and he couldn't access it either.

South Dakota here and could not access it at all last night or this morning.. I'd say a lot of people weren't able to get to it based on the amount of new subs from teh last time I was at the site yesterday around 5pm or so.. and then when I finally was able to get on this morning around 9am central.
This was the ONLY site I had trouble with..

I tried to access the SS last night around 11 pm. It was down for me also. I checked it again around 1 am, still down. I checked this morning around 8:30, and still nothing. But it was back when I cheked this afternoon, so who knows....

yeah all of yesterday and last night and early this morning was a "page not found" or it would time out trying to load the page... all 3 main pages- karaokescene.com, karaoke-forum.com and singers showcase were unaccessable... I am on west coast (washington) for location purposes and have high speed cable connection...- tig

I finally just got on again this morning.. seems it's been down for a few hours again... 
Kass was having same trouble again..
this time I did a tracert to the sites and there was no "network outage" as it failed immediately and said "unable to resolve target"... a network outage would have at least gone through the motions of hops to show me where the outage was.
I got everywhere else on the net... just not to the KS or SS sites and as I type this there is only 1 sub so far for Jul14.. which at 7am central time tells me that the site has been down for lots of people again...

Wisconsin here. My sub of "Big Time" on July 12th was the last one before the major problems. After posting, I couldn't even listen to anybody else's subs. They would load up, but nothing would happen. Then later on, couldn't even connect to the SS or Forum server. JW

I regularly experience outages at night but I always assumed it was backups since I usually access late at night here (Alaska).
The next time I have a problem I'll drop you a line including some traceroutes to the site.
