Does anyone have experience with the SKM gig rig  (or minin) rack?  I am considering purchasing it.

Currently Use the skb Mini gig rig and roto roller for my main rig and I love it.  Everything is rackmounted and permanently connected inside so all I really have to do is hook up mics and speakers and I'm rolling.  latches on the doors of mine are kinda crappy but I heard they fixed that with the newer ones.

I have the SKB mini gig rig and roto roller - I don't use them anymore as the one venue I was working at had me set up on a bar type table and the rig was TOO LOW to work from the ground and TOO wide dimension wise to put on the smaller table.
My advice would be to look at the dimensions ( I had an older version ) I'm not sure if they are the same.   Bottom line it was great as a source for amps and external
processors but I found it wasn't too pratical as a KJ/DJ command center.  Since I don't know wht you plan to put in that rack use your judgment.  SKB makes a great little slanted rack to hold CD controllers and a player unit or amp.

Good luck

I have a mini gig rig it can bee seen in one of the other thread's I love it. We actually have 2 of them. I just set it on top of the table and when I have larger gigs I use the roto roller also (amp rack) and simply place it under the table. SBK are great they are virtually indistructable and keeps you gear neat and for the most part setup all the time.
