Wouldn't even consider calling you a liar Dave. But seeing that you don't know me, proves that you don't know everybody!

In one post you said the last reprint was $250 and in another it was $159.
Excuse me  , I consider a "reprint" of doing the entire book from start to finish.
Yes the actual cost of the pages printed were $159, the rest was the binder & sheet protector costs for a total of approx $250 (give or take a couple bucks & some change). I never once eluded any differently. I said in my original post that the $250 cost INCLUDED printing, binders & sheet protectors - if you would have read the entire posts, you may have gathered that.

You guys are lucky when it comes to books cos you only have to deal with English songs. We have to deal with songs in 5 languages; English, Malay, Bidayuh, Iban, Chinese.
In some other parts of my country you may have 3 other languages that need to be included. Figure that out.

I guarentee my head would be spinning! The best idea I would have would be seperate language books, a few books for each language. How do you deal with that?

Do you have many different language songs? I had a strong Spanish following for a while & had a Spanish section in the book, at the end of the main section. If I had other languages, I would create a separate section for each.

Woh, easy Lonnie, I was just funnin' around!
Badsinger, when I first started working this job, it was at a chinese restaurant and they had English, Cantonese and Mandarin karaoke. The English was easy enough for me, but as far as the others went, we pretty much just photocopied the track lists from the disc sleeves (most of this music was on laserdisc, with a few vcd's thrown in) and put them in the binder. The customers who came in and sang the Chinese music (mostly college students from Taiwan) didn't seem to mind this, I think they were just excited to find a place that had music from home for them to sing!

Mike, Thats the way to go if you can't type in chinese character. The better way is to scan the cover; remove the dark colors so that the song titles show upbetter agains the background . Then xerrox.

All I have are a few spanish songs. Not many at all, just a couple discs worth. They are also currently mixed in with the rest of the songs in my book. I gotta say though I don't get requests for songs in other languages, just English. Granted I live in Indiana where we don't see many people whos primary language isn't English.

Over here most people sing in at least two languages , many sing in three languages. And there are some who sing in a language they dont speak.
I have never been to a place where English song is the only song sung.
