hi everyone im brand new to the site and i would love submit some songs. Karaoke is a huge part of my life!! but i know nothing about how to get my tracks onto the computer. what equipment/programs do i need?? all i have is the comp but i can easily add what i need. i just need someone to get me in the general direction of where i need to be. im sorry if this may seem tedious but i would appreciate all the help i can get. i am very novice at computer stuff. thank you very much alwayssinging [/b]

If you already have another means to record, I recommend you pick up Audigy from the internet (it's free). You'll also need an 1/8" stereo to twin RCA adapter which can be found at most Radio Shacks. This is the most common cable to hook up a playback device (the one you've recorded to) to the computer to record your songs.
If you use Audigy you'll also need to download the LAME codec.
Both of the software items can be found easily by doing a quick search on Google or check previous threads on this site.
