Does anyone know which company's recording of Hey Jude is shown in the attached screenshots? Once I know whose it is, I can try to track it down!

I'd say it's DK.

It looks like it could be DK, but I don't think it's DK as the original DK series was track number 2 on disc 13 & on the Encore series it's track #6 on disc 2004 - this screen is clearly showing track 3.  Unless this was a custom compilation, then I might say DK.
The ones I found with a track 3 was Priddis Entertainer series #9039, Sound Choice Foundation 1 which you would have known by the screen shot at the beginning & end if it was, Song Factory (which DID buy DK, so this is possible) SFCT24.

Lon, that's not TRACK 3, that's the TV showing CHANNEL 3.

It really looks like a Music Maestro disc, with the pure blue background.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm about 99% sure that's track three (3) on that disc.  I'm thinking it's an RSQ 222 player (or the JVC equiv) which shows track and elapsed time onscreen.  My RSQ 333 players shows disc-track elapsed time in the exact same place.

whatever it is >>>> I think Bibble9999 just created a new game for us on here...Guess what manufacutre it is :)
or even just a screen shot with some words then guess manufacture company and song and you get 100 points from Phil

Just a thought

Thanks for your efforts so far, people. I thought the font and colours would be enough, I didn't realise this was a difficult question!

At least we know it's not a disc any of you have got, or you'd have recognised the la de nas.

More info: it's a Welsh bar in the Canary Islands, so manufacturer may well be european (is sunfly UK?).

I thought it was Sunfly, because the bar had a lot of them, and my son said he remembers the sf logo at the start. But, my daughter says sf letters are green going pink!

Any more ideas?

That looks just like a disc I have... it's one Lon mentioned.. Priddis Entertainer series #9039 (Best Of Beatlemania) and it is indeed track 3 and the "na na na's" ARE lamely "La da da" and the blue background is the identical.... so I'd say that's very likely it!

Nope... I checked it... it's not it! It doesn't get to the "La da da da's" until almost 3:30 min's and not "La" but all "da da da da's".... so you can at least eliminate Priddis Entertainer series #9039. Weird though... the blue background and white going to yellow letters are identical.

I did a search and found it as track 3 on the following discs:

Sunfly 1024
Romantic Memories VCD 03
Romantic Memories DVD 02
Priddis 9039
Priddis 8039

I don't have these discs so I can't check them but any of them have 'Hey Jude' as track 3 on the disc.  Good luck!

Hmm... kinda looks like it might be a ChartBuster?  (CB40111 - Beatles Vol. 6)
Not that I have that disc or anything... but if I recall correctly, most of Chartbuster's stuff is blue screen, white lyrics with yellow highlighting.  Don't know about the Na's La's and Da's though....

DK also has the same background and font but it's not DK and it's not Music Maestro at least disc 6059.  All Na nas.

To those of you who remember this discussion from a month ago...

Well, we've had our holiday now, including a trip to the original venue. My daughter went up for Hey Jude and the splash screen said Music Maestro, so I guess they're the winners! I think the common practice of suppliers cross licensing confuses matters (eg Sunfly have cross licensed Hey Jude from Legends in the past).

In the end, I didn't risk it at that venue because:

1) The track is near the top of my range, so I just don't sound like Paul McCartney.
2) The venue had changed KJ and the new system was awful.

Did risk it at another venue though: duet with a lovely Danish woman. Unfortunately she didn't know it very well, so the result was patchy to say the least!

Have concluded that Hey Jude is just not good for me.

Surprise of the holiday was that I kept getting a warm reception for Tracks of my Tears. This also feels top of my range, but I guess it must be the top of Smokey Robinson's too; hence we both sound high!

According to KJPro, Music Maestro released 'Hey Jude' on four separate discs:

Music Maestro 6000 Series MM6059
Music Maestro 6000 Series MM6323
Music Maestro 6000 Series MM6399
Music Maestro Rock & Roll Pack MMRP01-2

I find it odd that they would make one version different from the other, although I have seen it done before.  SoundChoice, for one example.  I have two different versions of SoundChoice for Fleetwood Mac's "Gold Dust Woman".  The lyrics are basically the same, yet there's parts on one track that display some "ummms" whereas the other SC version has a musical 5 measure break during that part.
