I'm in Springfield, Missouri... It's approximately 3 1/2 hours in between both St. Louis and Kansas City.  I travel to both places on occasion.  KC generally to gamble.

I've lived here since 1987, so technically I wasn't "born and raised" here.  I'm a former Air Force brat (dad is retired after 23 years) and have lived in Maryland, Nebraska, Germany, New Mexico, Missouri, Michigan... and now back in Missouri again.  Passing through those different locations, I suppose I've been just about everywhere in the US.  

I think it would be a blast to meet up with some of you from the SS.  I've always thought it would be interesting if we were all in one karaoke joint.  I think, though, we'd all be fighting for the microphone...

Almost forgot! I have seen FinnPeter of course. I guess it was too obvious to be mentioned here  LOL  But the fact is that we never knew each other as well as we now do through SS. So we kinda needed this place for that. We haven't actually met, we just were at the same KWC competition in Heinola and saw each other perform.

hey everyone..so when are you all coming to Australia....I would love to have you all come stay out here in the outback ...where I can show you all first hand how to wrestle a goanna ...box a kangaroo (watch out for the left foot jab) ....have your ears blown out by a flock of galars...( they are just so loud) ....and see as much salt bush as your heart desires.. I have the prettiest veiw of our flinders ranges from my front door...

I live about 10 minutes from Cinderela (Cindy) but we've never met, maybe we did but we didn't pay attention?

Gilly drove by my town when she left for her 3 months vacation in the Maritimes, she didn't even stop

Cindy Roy will be moving near me this summer, let's hope I can record some duet with her

I see you are going on either side of us!  It would be great if you could plan a road trip up I-35 and see us in the Oklahoma City metro on your way from Texas to Kansas!!  Who knows, maybe one of these days your traveling will bring you here, if so you would be the first person we would meet from here!

I live in Calgary Alberta - Houston North.  Calgary is the centre of the Canadian Oil industry.  Someone coined the phrase "Blue Eyed Arabs" in the seventies for Albertans.  We have a strong singing community and one of the best karaoke shops in the country.  

I sing at places like The Rat and Parrot, Govenors, Backwoods and at the "Terryoke Bar and Grill" (my media room).  There we have "naked Karaoke" contests, for some reason I seem to be the only contestant...hmmm - go figure

I have sung accross Canada and in the Western US.  So if you are ever in this part of the world and you hear either "Terryoke" or "Mr. T" being called in the rotation that will likely be me.

One event not to miss in Calgary is the Calgary Stampede - the Greatest Outdoor Show in the World.   There is lots of singin', line dancin', cowboy boots n jeans...pretty girls  and lots of beer  YEEHAWW!!!!

Our karaoke store is exit 117 (if Northbound on I-35).  If you end up making an overnight in the area chances are you, Richard & I can meet for karaoke.  We have a "Where To Sing" sheet in our store.....

I'll be in Winnipeg in mid-June...I will let you know about karaoke, maybe we can meet up. Do you know of any good places to recommend up there? We will just be there a few days, probably go out to karaoke either July 15th or 16th and staying at the Place Louis Riel on Smith Street so it would be great if it was near there.

Amy! I am going to be in San Antonio beginning July 19th for about a week and I nearly always make a run to Austin since it is not very far from there to visit the Golf Smith store ! Outside of singing, I love to spend my summers on the golf course! Bad Singer.........Have you ever been to the states?   I know I'll never make it to your country, (the only place out of the states I've ever been is Canada).   Thought maybe you might make it here sometimes.

I also noticed your flag and it's very similar to the US Flag except for the stars that represent our states.

For some reason I have never been to the State; see the Organzation I used to worked with is based in NY ,and I never been to the HQ. But Like you I have been to Canada, the western part across the Rocky to Edmonton. Too cold for my comfort and being from the tropic could not fig out how to operate the heater in my room the first nite; Almost die of cold and it was only 10 deg C. dont laugh. Cant take my bath cos it was too cold to take off my cloth. The water was warm all right but the wash room was not. Took me a week to fig out how to warm the bathroom. And by that time I realy need a bath. oh boy

It would be very fun to meet someone from here. (especially a certain person I'm dying to meet) Sorry, can't say who....... and NO, it's not "like that". Just someone I'm dying to sing live with.  

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, when I hit the lottery (cause I AM going to hit the lottery, watch for my name on the news someday)  lol   then you will ALL be invited, and I'll spot for all plane tickets & we'll have a HUGE karaoke camp out. I've actually got it all planned out- where my first 1/2 million or so will go. I just need to hurry & hit the right lottery numbers.  So, when that happens- be ready those of you who want to come, cause I'm sooooo gonna make it happen someday. (soon..... I hope)

Anyhow- back to the question- I live in Canby Oregon, a little town kinda 1/2 way between Portland & Salem.  Not much happens here but daily life, lots of nurseries & crops (mostly berries) and (sneeze ) hay fields. Oh, and karaoke joints scattered all over the place, .
