What area of the country do you live in? Ever met up with another SS member that you didn't know before?

I travel a lot, so I've met some online friends from JOLT and Karaokeuniverse, but never from SS.  A couple of weeks ago in Las Vegas I met two people from karaokeuniverse for karaoke and we had a great time! I met a bunch of NJ and NY JOLT friends last summer and did lots of karaoke with them.

Anyone else live in Alabama?

We will be going to Fargo and Winnipeg sometime this summer, possibly also Tallahassee.  Labor Day week, we will be in Washington DC.  Let me know if you live in any of those areas and maybe we can meet up for karaoke!

I live in Edmonton, Alberta Canada

and YES!! I met Angebella99 a couple months ago.... she's on holidays right now in Wisconsin visiting family, but we got together for karaoke.... it was a lot of fun and we're planning to do it again!

How kewl is that!!  I, personally, have had the great honor to have been invited to the home of the notorius MELLY MUNCHKIN!!  Been to visit twice, actually!  The next time I visit, Tony Tiber is gonna try to be there, too!  Wow!  Won't we have another blast!  

I reside in GEORGIA, but I travel constantly!  Currently am in Nashville until Tuesday and from there I go to Massachusetts, New Jersey, Maine, Pennsylvania, Texas and Kansas...and that's just the rest of THIS month!!  LOL

I live in Anchorage, Alaska and the only other KS member up here has been preoccupied with a newbord so I haven't met her yet....

I used to live in Huntsville, Alabama; Pensacola, Florida; Orlando, Florida; Portland, Oregon; and a number of other places but all before I got the karaoke bug unfortunately.

I'll be in Penscola/Eastern Tennessee and maybe the Atlanta area this October and might get a chance to do some singing and meeting if anyone is interested!

I have never met anyone on SS personally. I have been in contact with a couple of people concerning recording studios and producers to try and help someone get some recording done in Nashville. I have always lived in West Texas within a 150 mile area of where I now reside except for 9 years living in the Texas panhandle near Amarillo.  I will be in Juction Texas during the second week of July at a rodeo arena and then for sure I will be in San Antonio the last week in July.  In the mean time, I am preparing to do a show for a division of soldiers who are going to be coming home from Iraq.  Four television stations, and approximately 6 country radio stations doing remotes. The expected crowd should number around 2,800 people. My band, Texas Heat will be with me as well as my daughter. I am doing this as a free concert to welcome them all back. I am not sure of the date yet because, apparently, some of that information is classified and no one knows when they are coming home. I was just asked if I would do the show. Outside of that, I am going to continue to do my regular shows in Odessa and Midland and enjoy the rest of my summer on the golf course!

I haven't personally met everyone on the forum or SS site, yet! Although I do know a few of you and some better than others. Some I even consider good friends - You should know who you are...

We have joked about getting a group together but I think it would be terrific if we could actually schedule it! I would love to get to know all of you! Some even more than others (wink - wink) HA HA!

Anyway - where I live currently (4 yrs) is Baltimore Maryland (Ballmur, Hon) Lived in So Cal for 15 yrs (Seal Beach, Long Beach & Los Alamitos)  Been all around the country prior to that...

Hey I'm jealous at you Crystal! I should be in that picture! I knew what Angie looks like but never saw her IRL yet. After seeing you the first time, Crystal, she told me you're a lot of fun and that must be true, I believe everything she says  LOL  I did see Joyce (Cantstopsinging) when I was in Los Angeles a week ago. I gotta say she is exactly the same Joyce as she is online. A very real and great personality!

I live in Finland, close to its capital Helsinki (10 miles away) as some of you may know. If my life's situation allowed it, I'd move to the US right away...

Fargo huh Suzanne? I live about 3-4 hrs away from there.. a little far for me to travel for karaoke.. but.. that's cool that someone'd be kind of in my area.

Mikey (Dumbdrums) and I were both in Fargo even at the same concert a couple of months ago but didn't get to meet up. That'd have been cool..

I live in South Dakota but I'm somewhat close to Bismarck, North Dakota.. so if anyone is ever there.. then it'd be possible for me to meet up with you..

I may get to meet Melly as well .. I'm trying to plan a trip to Colorado to visit some relatives and if all goes as planned then I'll get to meet her too..  :hi5: YAY!

I agree a get-together would be really cool!!!

As most of you know......I live in Tennessee!  I live in Millington which is only about 5 miles north of Memphis.   I haven't met anyone from SS yet.  Linda (Kuntrygurl) and I are hoping to get together in the near future.  She lives north of me about an hour and half away.  We thought about meeting in the middle.  Hopefully we will do this real soon.  

I lived in Nashville for about 4 years.  That's where I attended High School.  So that's been a reeeeeeeeeeal long time ago.  

So if anyone plans a trip for the Memphis scene.........give me a yell!  Would love to meet ya!!!!

imatunelover, sounds like you travel even more than I do...we should keep in touch because, who knows, our paths might cross  What part of Georgia do you live in? I am in Tuscaloosa, AL.  We went to Atlanta in March.

ml_texas, before we moved here, I lived in Lubbock for four years!

Phil, we will be flying into Baltimore in Sept. when we go to DC....I am from SoCal, too, by the way (grew up in San Diego).  It would be great if there was a get-together.  JOLT has those all the time, but they are usually during times I can't travel for one reason or another!

Cindy, too bad you don't live closer to Fargo.  We won't be there very long, anyway.  Our friend Barb lives there and we are going to fly there and then all drive up to Winnipeg for some shopping.  She always goes every year so we decided to join her this year.  We have been there a few times to visit her. I also have a brother near Grand Forks.

Jason, congratulations to both of you!!

Nashville would be a great place for a get-together...not too far from us, sounds like a few of you live near there, and it's warm.  Lots of great music there, too.  Great city!

I would be happy to host a get-together down here in Tuscaloosa, but...it's not a great city, not much to do here, so it wouldn't be as much fun as Nashville.

Well I live in Northern California right now....I know of 2 ppl within an hour or so from me but we have yet to meet up for karaoke...

I actually knew HeatherDavis from High School in Alaska...and saw her ever so original nickname on another site..said hmm....emailed..and sure enough it was her.  We met back up in October when she flew down for the American Idol Auditions...Which is also the same time I met Jacqui (Atomic)...she flew over from England for a visit...AND she'll be back in 10 days time to be my Maid Of Honor at my wedding on the 18th....

The ROAD TRIP with Jacqui and Heather OMG  These 2 girls are just INCREDIBLE friends....can't imagine better ppl to have as my best friends...
