This thing will rip, store and play back a large music library.....Too bad it doesn't play CD+G...Yet, that is. You can even connect a keyboard.

Forgive me if you've already seen it.

I'm thinking NO COMPUTER, no sound cards, simple patching direct into mixer and so on....Cool!

Maybe we need to scream that it also do graphics, huh?

Well, I've got a call in to the folks at Numark who handle product development...I'm waiting for them to respond.

You can call them yourself at 1-401-658-3131....Ask for Product Development.

These guys need to know they are just an inch away from shipping a KJ's dream. At $1229 street price, they can double their market once they include graphics.

When you consider that we computer KJ's need either a laptop or desktop plus a player or two and the proper soundcard and additional rack space, then this product is actually a bargain....All a guy needs is a homebased laptop/desktop and one each of these for each of his venues.

Read the fine print and you will see this player ships with an external keyboard that connects USB...It also can print out text based songlists.....These guys are and inch away from producing a great KJ setup.

Please give them a call and tell them what you need....Let them know you are out here.

I e-mailed them and made sure to mention having only ONE video output for both players, or a switchable output between the two video outs built into the unit....just to improve on the CD25G they have!!

If they had enough interest in one, then it would be worth inquiring about.  Don;t discount because it doesn;t fit your present needs!  Put in a request for what you would need!

I looked at this unit and while it's very convenient to use, for that price I can buy a decent laptop and a NAS (Network Attached Storage) worth about 500 GB that would be protected against drive failure. I can see this kind of unit for about $700 or so but not for $2k. Just my thoughts.
