Wow!
It's so cool to be able to sit against the back wall and hear/mix like a pro while facing the stage.
I split my rack and put the computer, mixer, BBE, EQ and compressors in my rack, and then just the amps, mics and cabs on stage......
It was instant pro sound and stayed that way all night.
Yehaw!

The only way to go. And I like to be setup where I can watch the crowd as well as the stage. You are more accessible to singers turning in requests they dont have to go near the stage. In fact I have some regs that verbally give requests on the way up by the time they have the mic out it is playing. Like to keep the mixer rack back and away from the request table that way nobody has access to it including heaven forbid a spilled drink. But the main advantage is being able to hear & adjust the sound.....

Yeah, ain't it sweet to be out front with the chicks and be able to keep and eye on the crowd and an ear on the stage.
