wouldn't it be kool if we could pick and song and get a whole wack of users to sing and record it? Then we could have one person who mixes all the parts together and make one giant group song! It would totally rock! Anyone up for it?

I love the idea of group songs and have been involved in several.  I tried getting one together a while back called "Voices That Care," BUT I ended up recieving only half the parts from people so it kinda fizzled out and died..  I'd love to try it again, and hopefully it will come together better this time.  I'd like to still try that one, or one that I think is from the musical "fame" which is called "Starmaker"  When I was going to do the project last time, I went as far as to sing the song and do all the parts, and I put it up so people understood exactly what was going on, and when to pick parts in the group sections and which parts to pick that would sound the best.. I'm willing to head this up again if there are enough people interested.. But I'd really hate to start this again and just see it die, so I'd hope people who say they want to be involved stick to it! I felt bad for those people who had already sent me their parts who never got to see it come together.. I still have them I think :( ...

Big Problem with groups songs....you gotta get them done!  Let it linger for a while, and it just goes away.  You really have to ride your participants to get on it.  Tough gig ardis....good luck and have fun!

ohh there's a couple group songs that I'm still waitin to hear:

All for Love - gender-bender trio for 3 girls... *elbowing jazzy's side*

and

"That's the Truth About Men" - for a buncha country guys. like perhaps ml_texas, Michael Dane, KDJMAX, GitRDone.... that would be hillarious!

"Hard Candy Christmas" That a few girls did at X-mas time was really cute!

I LOVE hearin the groups, but I can't be IN 'em! LOL! I completely give up on harmony! ROFL

but yes... MORE GROUP SONGS!!!!

Sounds like a great Idea!! How do we pull it off?

Suggestion for a song...... Will the circle Be unbroken..... I have heard this done on several shows on the tube, ending a show, and it is a beautiful group song.

Any other suggestions?

I would love to participate!  I don't know most of the songs mentioned, though.

How about "We Are The World"?

A Suggestion:  I suggest we pick one person to kind of be our leader in this and
break down the lyrics for each person and then put it all together.  Maybe some of
you great mixers would volunteer.....HUh?   :hi5:

Just a suggestion!

well.. what I had said in the post that disappeared, is that I would LOVE to do the mixing... as long as all the tracks sent to me are COMPLETLEY dry.. no music... and now effects...

BUT I DON'T WANNA SING! HAHAHA!!

pick a song! pick a song!! I'll gladly do the mixing..... unless someone else who's better wants to!
