Is there anyone adept at using Goldwave who wants to share tips?

Like - When should I use the smoothing that goes with the compression/expansion feature versus using the "smoother" feature?

There are several options that seem to reduce hiss... which is the best?

Is there a better way of getting a full sound other than just doubling the vocals on both channels?

What is the difference between using the "echo" setting vs "reverb"?

What's the best order to do things in to get the cleanest final sound? Equalizer first/reverb first/etc?

Just wondering if I'm alone in using this program...

I use goldwave, but not for singing/recording myself... for that, I definately recommend Audacity (Cool Edit Pro 2)! It's free, and supports multi-track levels of recording!

Knight,

Audacity and Cool Edit Pro are not the same thing; Audacity is free and CEP is not and is now  Adobe Audition.

You may get Audacity here  http://audacity.sourceforge.net
