I think Ive told this story before but its worth retelling We were all sitting down at the table to eat supper and us kids were all excited!! Mom said whats goin on?   Elvis Presley is gonna be on the Ed Sullivan show!!!  Mom looked at me and said who is elvis presley?  We totally cracked up and still laugh about that. It wasnt long after that he was known world wide..  What I wouldnt give to spend 2 weeks in the golden age again..

 What I remember about him was he took time out from his career and served his country and expected no favoritisms. People like him dont come down the pike very often.. And if they do they are suppressed and eaten alive by the money mongers and todays overcomplicated corporate greed laws..

 Not only does he live in infamy, he will never be replaced or nobody will even come close to changing the world or the music industry  like he did.   Long live EP....

the very best elvis tribute act ive ever seen is an irish guy called THE KING he sings the songs that elvis would sing if he was alive today....bob marley,u2 and suchlike,i thought he was awsome but i was in the minority the rest of the crowd wanted "the wonder of you"and all that other stuff.

thanks, kbonz, for bringing us this link ... and a quite exciting link it was for any Elvis fan. A few of the things that make it so amazing ... he has Elvis' physical structure and facial qualities when Elvis was young. He has managed to imitate almost perfectly Elvis' performing moves and facial expressions. He also does a really nice job of imitating his vocal nuances. He hasn't exactly copied Elvis, but I dare say he has come closer than anyone else I've seen. Some may even think this was a believeable duplicate. Hats off to this guy
