I had know idea what this thing was until I looked it up on the web. This thing sounds awesome. I have a few ?'s though. What software can you use too play and cue music with. Do you have to use what comes with it. I use winamp and would like to stay with it. Also do they have something like this for a desktop computer? I didnt go with the laptop for my dj'ing. I use a mid size tower and a 17" flat screen monitor.

Well... call me crazy, but I ordered the Indigo DJ. I'm fascinated by its "capabilities" and the review that I read. If I understand it correctly... I should be able to run WinAmp and Hoster through different channels into my mixer from the same computer. I'll write a review once I install it.

I use the Echo PCM/CIA sound card and Its great. And it can be used with any program as long as it has the ability to run more than one output. Most of the PRO software has this ei... Mixmeister, BPM, PCDJ YOu can assign what playes through what output on the card. as for Winamp, it will run out of 1-2 Of the card by defalt, if your version of winamp has a Cue feature then you can assign the cue to run through 3-4 output. If winamp supports more than one stereo Output. ITs a good card and has a volume wheel for headphone output (which is cool) You'll be glad you got it.

the gigaport or the maya44 are much better products. They give you rca out vs 1/8" stereo. And 4 sets of stereo outs vs 2. The other difference is usb vs pcmia.
