Phill asked me to restore this topic to the singer's forum, so here it is again !
Just to fill you in a bit more on this topic. When you delete a song to make room for a new song, you must know that song you deleted so you don't sub it again by mistake. We can all keep a list, but this idea was to have a list on line for everyone to see and make it more easier to navigate.
How about a menu from A to Z and I click on F for all the members nic's that begin with F like mine , find FinnPeter click on my name and there are all my deleted songs in alfabetical order with the date I deleted them.
I could also click on any other members name to see what songs they have deleted from the same A to Z menu and get an idea what song next to sub or even ask a member to resub an old song that you see that you like etc.
In this way it would be more easier for Phill to program this option than make a list for every member with password and private view only. What do other members think of this idea !
Cheers,
Peter

I don't support the idea of an automatically public list. But I do support the idea of an online private log. This log (or parts of it) could then be shared by each user by their own choice, just like the subs themselves.
One factor against the automated deleted subs list is that almost everyone has taken down subs that were erroneus one way or another. These would probably be listed too, which is of course not desired. But this is only one example, there are many other reasons why I wouldn't want to go public with all my subs.

Hi Jee,
Maybe I have said it the wrong way. Any member would NOT be able to listen to deleted subs, only see in text what others have deleted plus themselves of course.
There are two ways this can be done (Public) or (Private) if its Public you can see what songs ALL have subbed and deleted, if it's Private, then you can only see your own deleted subs, and I stress only SEE in text, not hear the song as well.
Cheers, Peter

I like the idea...
I also think the songs list should have a date when the song was originally submitted, for reference.

Hi Peter,
I understood what you meant and it's obvious that deleted subs can't be listened to anymore. If that kind of public list will be realized, it should still be user's choice what to list there. It doesn't make sense that we can delete subs if we want but then we would still have to list publicly everything we've ever subbed, even those subs that were online just ten seconds or so.

I think it's a great idea, let me know when you want my list. I don't have dates, though, but I could probably narrow it down to a particular month....
