Oh ma gosh................ I just fell in love all over again.
That is way too cool..... he's for sure the closest immitator I've ever seen. Maybe I'll have to go see him...... maybe if I smile real pretty I'll get me a new cadillac.
Glad ya posted this for us all to check out.

Kbonz,
This guy is from Quebec city and I saw him Live last summer, simply amazing!! If you hear that he's coming near your town, buy a ticket even if you're not an Elvis fan like my wife, she loved the show! I don't think he plans to continue very long cause he's very tired, he's been doing this for over 10 years now! Not only does he look like Elvis (that's make up btw) but he's got the voice! Don't hesitate to cross the border friends, he's worth it!!
The show is about Elvis's life, from the begining to his last live performance where the audience was told, ELVIS has left the building and we all know the rest...

GREAT GREAT GREAT!! What a showman! But it ends at SHOWMAN.
Last year I saw the "Strawberry Fields " Concerts from a group.
I love the copycats, But none of these losers ever minutely approaches the genius of Elvis et al.

That guy has got the looks and the moves, but the voice is not great. I can do some of those songs better.

I've got decent equipment (mixer-amp, 58beta mic etc) but I haven't figured out how to get my minidisc recordings on to the PC yet. Any advice welcome.
If you want to hear an Elvis Tribute who's BETTER THAN ELVIS vocally, you need to check out Doug Church.

Jee can help here. Now where are you Jee? You are the only one who record on mini disc.

Lots of great "Elvis voices" out there... Lots of impersonators with good costumes, good moves, and great sideburns... Doug Church is awesome... my personal fav is Jimmy Ellis (Orion)... but in my opinion, this guy in Canada, Martin Fontaine, comes closest to having it all -- the closest at being "everything Elvis"....

I'll agree with that. Just found the voice a bit lacking.

Getting the recordings to the computer from minidisc isn't that hard - it's just like recording directly but without having to deal with the recording levels, etc while trying to sing.
If you have SPDIF out on your minidisc player (my Sony JE320 does) then I recommend you obtain an ADS Tech Instant Music sound device. It plugs into the USB port and offers both SPDIF in and out. Obtain Audacity to record with, or use the built in software that comes with the ADS. Hit record on the computer, play on the minidisc and that's it.
I've started recording in minidisc and then transfering to computer myself. It's easier to work with the levels and I can record a lot more that way. If I don't like something I can also delete it just as fast (if not faster) than I do on my computer.
If you have more questions, let me know. The ADS Tech is about $50 and has a part number of RDX-150. Audacity can be obtained at http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ and is open source.
If you're using a platform other than Microsoft Windows you can obtain versions of Audacity at the above site for Linux and the Mac as well.
Hope to see you posting soon!

The best I've seen is Eddie Miles. Check out his website and listen to some of the sound clips. WWW.EDDIEMILES.COM.

Very, very good. Not in the same league as Doug Church though.

Thank you Sir!
I've found somewhere in the UK that stocks the ADS Tech. I've also had a quick play with Audacity (just recording an existing song from a CD player to the line in on my sound card).
First try wasn't too bad.
Seems to be a lot of settings to get one's head around! I paricularly like the compressor function. I've often wondered what compression does.
