Hi everyone.  I'm using Windows Media Player 9, and I've never had a problem with listening to subs.  2 days ago when I clicked on "listen" the box appeared as it normally does, but in the box was the "plug in" symbol. I clicked on the the plug in symbol and and was taken to the Netscape sight to download the proper plug in, but there was a message stating that no plug in was found. I haven't changed any settings in Media player or on Netscape, and Media player works fine on other sites.
I'm completely stumped by this. Anyone have an idea what happened?

Thanks for all your help, Lee

Sounds like you are using a Netscape browser ~~ either check to see if there are any updates for the browser ~~ or better yet ~~ you should try to switch to a MSIE browser.

Not sure if that will solve it ~~ but if you are using a PC ~~ this could be part of the prob.

something has changed with the viewer in the past few days tho.. I noticed my viewer when I click on "listen" looks different... I used to get swirling colors kinda like the WMP does and now I get a straight looking media player like window. no graphics... No ID tags.. just the song name and the person's username here..

So something changed at this site I would guess.. cuz I haven't done anything to any of my computers and they are all like this now.

Don't know if that helps any or not ...

The Player is a new one as Foxy pointed out. Its better than the old one. If you right click the button to the left of the volum slider you will get a pull down menu. you can do a few things and there is an option to 'save as..'. So saving downloaded file is easyer now.

Thanks for the advice badsinger. I updated my profile but it didn't help any. Oh well, it was worth the try.  And shotgun cc, I did try using IE and had no problem playing the subs, so I guess I'll be using that from now on.  Thanks to both of you for your input.  All the Best, Lee

It may come down to this ... what version of windows are you running, and what version of media player do you have.

Hi Dave. I'm running Windows Me with Windows Media Player 9.0. As I said, I haven't
changed any settings. Everything was working fine and then one day I ran into this problem.  I believe this site changed something such as switching players. and that
may be why I'm haviing this problem.  I frequent other karaoke sites using Netscape
and everything works fine.  It's only on this site that  I have trouble.  Yet  if I bring up this site using IE, the player works just as it should.  It's got me completely baffled.
Thanks for  your interest - Lee.
