Carvin also has the PA-1200 on sale for $600. That might be too much power ?
The PA1200 would be a good choice @ $600. It's not as expandable as the Mackie, but is a full flight better than the Soundtech. It's 200 watts x 3 (2 stereo mains & monitor) into 8 ohms, & is stereo if needed otherwise you can double up on 1 channel for a 4 ohm load at 333 watts which the speakers will like alot better than the 100 watts they are currently recieving. Carvin does make good stuff. I love their component power amps & speakers. The sound engineer for my band got me hooked on that stuff as he ran an entire Carvin PA from mixer to speakers & monitors.
