Hi,

I need help on where to hook up my equipment. (what order the equipment goes)

I have

mixer (has inserts)
sonic maximizer
31 band eq
feedback destroyer

I am not sure the order in which they need to be hooked up for best sound.

I would run the mixer to the eq, eq to the amp.  Run the Sonic Maximizer in the "main" inserts on the mixer.  If it doesn't have main inserts, the run it inline after the eq & before the amp.
Drop the Feedback destroyer (don't need it with properly set-up eq, speaker placement & gain structure) - but if you must have it, put it after all the eq's & before the amp.

You could put it on the mics only if that's what you would like.  It will give you a little extra control for them, but it is more effective on the overall mix.  So run the mixer to the eq, eq to the Sonic Maximizer then to the amp.

Actually I find that the sonic maximizer is better in front of the eq.  Once you hook up the sonic maximizer, set the eq flat, set the maximizer so that it sounds good, and you may not even need the eq but if you do you can do some tweaking from there.  At Least that's how I do it when I setting up a room and normally I would defer to lonmans superior experience but give it a try this way too.  I have a small rig that I don't even use an eq at all with anymore just BBE.
