Oh contracts for 1 timers/private shows are a must. Never do one without. Clubs & contracts don't work.

WOOT on that one Tim!

I never go to a private show unless I've already cashed their "retainer" or "reservation fee"... and if they stiff me, I'll never do business with them nor their friends again! I had a couple try to get me to do a party... I was interested, until they told me where they heard of me. I told them that once they got the other people to finish paying me for my services, that I wouldn't do it. I considered that other party a bad reference, and wanted nothing to do with those people again.

Sheesh, they were lucky I didn't trash something... they stiffed me at their own clubhouse!
