I have thoroughly enjoyed browsing through this thread!  Man! what a collection of BABES! Most of us seem to be from around the same time. (the good ol' days, that is)

I decided to join in the fun and prowled around in the basement and found our prom picture. I also added a picture from last fall(24 years later) as a comparison. The years have been kind to my wife but this picture doesn't really show it. We had just come home from a trip and my parents dropped in and snapped it.  Fortunately for me, she doesn't come to this website, so I am pretty safe.  :D

This is my brother and I (we both graduated the same year... and NO we're not twins... he was held back a grade, so we've been in the same grade ever since we were VERY little



and I had to put this one in here too... It's me and my friend Tanya (YES! she's extremely tall) and our HOT gym teacher.... how could we NOT get a picture taken with him! !

cute pics. I wear glasses too but I have ALWAYS taken them off for pics.  I have contacts but now I have a stigmatism (from getting old) so the contacts are not good because I can't read anything with them (especially small print).  In karaoke bars I have to borrow my husband's reading glasses so I can read the song book!  That's about the only time I wear my contacts, is when we go out to karaoke. I wish I could wear them more often because I notice I am getting a bad dent on each side of my face....do you have that??

Anyway, ya look pretty!

I used to wear contacts... getting more soon. Sometimes I like the glasses... I get a good response when I wear 'em

Oh, you're only 22....well you got 20 years before you get the dents, !!

I don't like to wear glasses at karaoke because I think it psychologically makes me hold back a little when I sing, don't know why but it seems to.  Also the contacts make me look better and I need all the help I can get!

I think there is some confussion about posting images.

First, try to place all images into the Photo Gallery. Note: The photo gallery does not create thumbnails for gif images. Please post images either in your personal gallery or the Public Gallery. I will create a new area called Other Events

Second, if you must place images in a post, please DO NOT Hotlink (This is link to another website to retrieve the image)
Use the attachment feature at the bottom of each post instead.

Hotlinking causes problems...
If the image at the other website is ever deleted, renamed or moved - that will create an error message on this website. This will defeat the purpose of your post.

Hotlinking uses another sites bandwidth. In fact, I have hotlinking blocked on this website.

Further, if the other site for whatever reason goes offline or has server problems that could delay this website from displaying the image.

Additionally, some people have been posting extremely large images. This causes the pages to scroll off the side - very annoying.

Therefore any images that do not use the attachment feature will either have:
the post edited with the image link removed or
the post edited with the image made into an attachment.

Ok Phill, I'm a dodo when it comes to these things....

What is "hotlinking" so I can stop if I'm doing that.  And...I'm pretty sure I attached my pics but they still came out huge.  

Sorry Phill, I thought it would be fun to see everyone's prom pics all in one thread, didn't know I was doing something I shouldn't!!! I usually KNOW when I'm doing something bad, heehee....

Simply put: Do not use links to other websites. Do not use the [img] tag to insert pictures use the "Add an Attachment" section located below each Reply or Post.

You didn't do anything wrong - it just is very difficult to read posts when they scroll of the side of the screen or you get error messages in images... Things are just very hard to follow then.
